Amazing stay. Gorgeous views (property too).
Lovely location in a cottage next to the big house. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to spend time in the amazing garden and take a dip in the pool.
The place was amazing, just what we needed. Beautiful scenery, peaceful, very clean and worth the price. I have already recommended. We had no load shedding . Just the WiFi dips but that's understandable, considering we were surrounded by a dam and mountains.
Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. Spectacular sunsets, beautiful, well-maintained garden, clean pool. We had a fantastic weekend. Everything was neat and tidy, all utensils needed were available. Would definitely recommend this place.

Th stay was good, but it's definitely a hassle to get to the location due to the gravel road.

The place looks so beautiful, the views are to die for and their beautiful garden and pool is everything. The host was very friendly and welcoming including the whole family and their dog. I loved the garden mostly so peaceful I would definitely visit again.
Neat, clean and very nice area. Quiet and peaceful. Will stay there again. All that could be improved is that as soon as someone stays for more than 2 days the trash can be emptied. Our trash was overflowing after 5 days. No other complaints, great place.
Kaapzicht is a very nice place to stay about 3 km from Gordons Bay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very nicely located between mountain and sea. The owner (Ida) immediately made us feel welcome and is very nice. A plus point would have been if the unit had air conditioning, otherwise everything would have been perfect. I will certainly recommend Kaapzicht and will return there myself.

Not a nice braai area, space too small.
Stove not working. Only single beds for 4 couples. Stairs always wet because of a gutter direct on stairs. My wife broke arm on the slippery stairs. If you use shower in the loft water flows over in to kitchen area. Loft room no window. Loft staircase always wet and slippery because there is no gutter to the roof above the loft. I phoned about the stove not working I got no answer. It was a very uncomfortable stay. I think the advertising was misleading too because a view of the whole house showed we got just 2 rooms.

The loft was great, more than what we expected, the host Ida was very helpful and super nice.
Only one issue we picked up was that there is an odour from the septic tank system that seems to come back up through the drain in the shower/basin. That was a little unpleasant.
