KaiaMina at Hartenbos is a well-equipped modern apartment situated in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood in Hartenbos hills. It offers the best if both worlds being far enough from holiday the buzz, but close enough to the popular beachfront (2,5 km) and the centre of town. After a busy day on the beach, browsing through shops or gallivanting along the Garden Route, guests can rest under the stars on the deck or next to the braai. The unit offers easy access to the main access ways to Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn as well as the N2 en route to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), George, as well as Geaorge Airport, Cape Town and the beautiful Garden Route.
Guests can enjoy a lovely view of the Outeniqua Mountains, the Hartenbos River and a limited sea view from the deck above the apartment.
The unit comprises an open plan kitchen, living area and sleeping area. There is no separate bedroom and the unit can accommodate up to 2 guests on a double bed and 2 single beds (day bed with an underbed). The unit is more than sufficient for 2 adults but can accommodate 2 children, or 3 adults. There is a full, separate bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. Please note that we do not provide towels, so guests have to bring their own bath and swimming towels along.
The open-plan kitchen features a fridge/freezer, 2-plate stove, mini-oven, microwave, and a toaster with a 4-slice function.
An outside basin and shower is also available to rinse one's beachwear and wash off sand. A washing line and drying rack is available.
Other amenities include an air-conditioner, a handgun safe, free Wi-Fi and a TV with a Disney+ and Netflix. Guests can bring along their own decoder. There is an extra long HDMI cable for any suitable device. Guests also have access to the deck, braai facilities, garden seating and safe covered parking right in front of the apartment.

Comfortable, neat home that is excellently and tastefully equipped. We were kindly received by Elmien and welcomed with a delicious home-baked milk tart in the fridge. The house was very neat, clean, comfortable and well equipped. More than enough hanging cupboards and drawers for clothing etc. Had covered parking right in front of the door, which was very convenient for dropping off and picking up luggage. There is no fence, but it seems to be a safe environment. This accommodation offers good value. Guests just need to remember to bring their own towels and a battery lamp for use during load shedding.

This is a modern apartment, which is well equipped, for very good value for money. On our arrival, we were very kindly received by Elmien, with the smell of coffee in a coffee machine, and as a big surprise, a milk tart in the fridge, baked by one of the daughters in the house! Incorrigible. KaiaMina is definitely recommended. Just a pity we could only spend one night there.

After the president's announcement that the beaches were closing here along the Garden Route, they even offered to compensate us for the nights we cut short our holiday. Furthermore, there is everything one needs to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. Was really value for money.

We only stayed one night and arrived very late, but we were still so kindly received by Adriaan. The accommodation is beautifully cozy and the decor looks cheerful. The sign by the door with our names on it was a welcome sight. We had a very nice stay, had everything we could need, even a hairdryer which is not always available in most self-catering places.
