Kalahari Farmhouse is a lush, secret-garden oasis in the arid Kalahari. This intimate lodge offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in 11 cottage-style chalets, with colourful quilts, fireplaces and cosy farmhouse charm. The chalets look onto the garden, lined with towering palm trees. The lodge is well positioned on the outskirts of the village of Stampriet.

Accommodation at the lodge comprises 10 standard twin rooms and 1 standard 4-bed family room. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with air-conditioning and complimentary tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each room has a small verandah, where guests can relax and enjoy the garden views.

The reception and restaurant are housed in a manor, built in the heyday of Karakul farming many years ago. The small farming business next door keeps the kitchen stocked with fresh produce for the delicious dishes on the menu. Enjoy the serene tranquillity at the pool, join a scenic drive in Gondwana Kalahari Park to witness the red dunes, or partake in a morning or sunset game drive in the Kalahari Desert. The game drives depart from a nearby lodge and transfers from Kalahari Farmhouse are available. Guests can also visit the adjacent Self-sufficiency Centre; the centre supplies various lodges with fresh produce. Seasonal vegetables are grown, cows are milked, and a variety of salami, sausages and biltong are produced.

The lodge is accessible if travelling between Windhoek and the south, or for those en route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park or South Africa.
