Units were neat and clean with everything we expected.
Staff are friendly, helpful, meals are deliciously prepared, and also large space in rooms.
The dishcloths were worn through. Used our own washing-up cloths and dishcloths. The red blankets looked totally worn out. A sight for sore eyes.
The rooms are clean and tidy. However, the restaurant disappointed. After 90 minutes of waiting, the fish we ordered was inedible. There was also no choice of any white wine, although they are located between several cellars. They can certainly do better.
Good food, very good and reasonable.
No complaints, we ate well in restaurant and slept well.
Service in the restaurant during dinner and breakfast was slow. There was a lot of traffic noise in the street in front of the hotel during the night and the picture on the TV was quite poor.
We really enjoyed the self-catering unit, especially the air conditioning in the hot December month! The unit has everything you need and was very comfortable. Some of the other guests were talking/hanging out very loudly during the night, but thankfully quieted down later so we could rest. Except for the neighbors, we enjoyed the evening there.
Value for money! Even the wine and food is dirt cheap! I will definitely visit here again!
Waiters and reception were excellent. Very helpful when we visited Augrabies to check on my four-footed family member. Food was excellent, no complaints.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the self-catering unit as described and displayed on the website. Very modern and comfortably furnished. The service... Great. Would I stay there again? Ensure. I recommend Kalahari Gateway with conviction.
