Great place to stay just north of Upington. It has the feel of being in the veld but still close to the amenities of town. The unit was clean and well-equipped. I would definitely recommend the lodge to anyone passing through Upington.
Very neat and very nice with the spring goats so close. The only problem is that you can hear your neighbors through the room wall when they are talking and coughing.

Ideal Kalahari relax and overnight.
We were 3 women who came together from different corners, spent the night and we were able to leave 1 vehicle at the Lodge, safe, covered and comfortable. The accommodation is very convenient and comfortable, and the location is along the road to Kgaligadi, so everything is very nice.

Very clean, tidy and comfortable place to stay.
We were forced to spend 10 days here due to car trouble. It was the best place to stay, it's nice, clean and well located. Everyone helped make it easier for us, we are so grateful!
This is the 3rd time we have camped at Kalahari Monate Lodge on the way to the Kgalagadi, and we absolutely love it. The campsites are big, and well-kept, and, this time, there was a new waterslide and additions to the jungle gym that my kids absolutely loved! I would highly recommend this campsite.
The lodge is located on the road to the Kgalagadi, Twee Rivieren camp. It is peaceful and quiet and has the most beautiful locusts grazing near the cabins. The only problem was that the camp was not full and our unit was directly adjacent to another unit and we could hear everything (and I'm sure they could hear us too) next door. We felt that we could have had another unit instead, as there was room. The air conditioning didn't work either and it was 48 degrees that day!
I stayed in the caravan park and it was a good experience.
Unfortunately the airconditioning was not able to cope with the heat - chalet 4.

My daughter and I spent the night there with you on our holiday on our way to Namibia. Beautiful place, clean, tidy, good service. Create a peaceful atmosphere for a weary traveler. All that bothered us a bit were our neighbors because the units basically have one roof, the neighbors' voices echo and you can hear everything if the people talk loudly. Furthermore, we had a wonderful rest and would recommend Kalahari Monate Lodge.
We slept over on the way to the Kgalagadi. The house was clean and tidy, and has everything you need for a nice overnight stop. The pool and slide kept our boy busy for hours. Would definitely recommend.
Will upgrade the accommodation if Spitskop Reserve can be visited.
Barely 5 minutes' drive North of Upington, but it feels as if you are in the middle of the Kalahari. The chalet has all the necessary facilities; was clean and tidy.
Will definitely come again.
Nice place, well located, well appointed, air conditioner only works for a while (and yes it was on 22) but it was mercifully cool in Upington.

Chalets are very neat and clean. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We only stayed one night, but will definitely go next time for a weekend.

The whole place is very neat and there is a swimming pool with a lawn and nice barbecue areas. The springboks run around the houses.
