Our stay at Kamba Game Lodge was amazing. The owner was friendly and very accommodating, from even before our booking was confirmed. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and make you feel like you are at home. There's an on-site bar if you're looking for drinks, and an inviting pool for those hot summer days if you want to cool down. The pool also has slides for the kids to enjoy. The accommodation was clean and neat and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely the best value for money!

My wife and I booked a 2-night stay at Kamba and we were blown away by the unit, the staff and the amenities! Our unit was immaculate upon arrival and made up just as I requested to celebrate our anniversary. The unit was modern beyond what we expected, especially the side tables and bathroom mirror! In short, we were blown away by the modern meets bush experience. The bar was awesome, the game viewing deck is great and the kids-friendly pool means we will visit with our kids again! The staff were all very friendly and always at hand to assist with anything. The lodge is an amazing destination for both families and couples and we will highly recommend anyone to book a stay for at least 3 nights and more! Thanks to Ireen and the team for an exceptional experience!

Was really amazing. On arrival, we were welcomed by the receptionist who then booked us in and showed us our cabin. After that, there were three gentlemen who waited by our bakkie and helped us unpack and carry all our luggage to our cabin. The place was very clean, very comfortable, and people were very friendly during our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone, and they will see me again in the future.
What a wonderful, relaxing stay! Ireene was so kind and accommodating, and Faith made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The Leopard unit was clean and well-equipped. The chest freezer was a great addition, especially if you plan on staying for a few days and have a bit of meat to store. Very impressed and we'll be back again next year!

Had a wonderful evening at Kamba Game Lodge. Only disadvantage is that the parking is far from the unit, and one therefore has to carry heavy luggage.
I was looking for a place for me and my two teenage daughters to get out of the house for a bit. I was thankful that we could only book for one night (many places require two nights). The accommodation was affordable, very neat, luxurious, and so peaceful. We had a great time and slept. Thank you very much, we will definitely see you again!

Very nice stay. Will go again. Self-catering kitchen of Leopard Chalet not sufficiently equipped. Clipping grid will help. Otherwise, they must specify what you must bring. No dish towels. Fortunately for previous reviews, otherwise I would have shelled out a test. Not suitable for 7 people as advertised. Maximum 4 due to only 1 bathroom. Very well located from other restaurants in the area.
The place is stunning. We were able to locate it with ease using GPS. Friendly and helpful staff; loved that a lot. It's also able to accommodate adults and minors. The rooms were clean and organised. Definitely coming back in the future.
We had a short stay, but it was perfect for a night. We will come back in the summer so the children can play in the water while we wind down after a long day of game driving. They offer wood and the staff carried our bags from the car to the living quarters, which is not next to the parking.
Very nice stay. The chalets are clean and tidy. Animals come to drink right next to the lodge. Will definitely go again. Only negatives are: No washcloths or dishcloths. No plug for the sink.

It was a nice stay. The place was luxurious, spacious, neat and clean. Small things like having bedside lamps already plugged in and more than one teaspoon in the kitchen would have made it perfect.
Enjoyed the stay. We rented the Leopard Chalet - very neat with nice finishes. Pros: Value for money - nice finishes, etc. for the price you pay. It was very quiet as we were mostly alone. Beds are definitely comfortable. Unit has DSTV (not full package) with 3 TVs. Unit has an oven, microwave, general cutlery, small fridge, pots and pans. Beautiful bathroom with a huge shower. Staff are friendly and eager to assist. Nice common areas with good finishes. Irene is very helpful - she even arranged a game drive for us. Cons: We only had cake forks in our unit (but used the forks from the communal kitchen). There were mostly 4 of each item in terms of cutlery (for larger groups, this may not be ideal). The fridge is small. Worked well for us - as we were only 2 and staying for 3 days. No freezer (only a quick freeze option). The oven was a bit dirty. The kitchen tap leaks. There are security lights on at night which are a bit bright. The rooms are therefore not as dark as some would prefer, but not the worst. Has space for 7 to sleep but the house is small.

The chalet was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, there was no barbecue equipment, which was a little frustrating. It would be a good idea to maybe offer guests the option to buy things like wood/charcoal/briquettes and ice at the accommodation as the nearest shop is quite far away. The parking is also a little way from the chalets and walking up and down with a huge amount of bags and coolers was not ideal either, maybe something to look into. My 2c. Other than that it was very nice.

Very nice. Kitchen cupboards are full of personal items. Boiler needs to be cleaned. Need braai and tongs. More chairs outside would be nice.
Not so enjoyable. Lots of things were not in order. 1. No keys, stayed in a house with no keys. 2. Sometimes no water. 3. Toilets not flushing. 4. Microwave not connected. 5. No coffee/tea and sugars.
The stay was good; however, there are a few things the lodge can improve on. We arrived after 14:00 to check in; however, our place was only ready after 16:00. The oven had no tray and was not working. This was reported to the manager, but she said it would be difficult to get someone to fix it on a Saturday. We also parked far from where we stayed and had to walk a few times to get everything to our residence.
