It was great, we arrived very late at night. They waited for us. They even fetched us when we got lost. The room was clean, the linen was clean and fresh.
Maybe we were there on the wrong day ever. I believe the place has potential. The owner tried to help us over the phone as best she could. The dogs, well behaved but were incessantly rowdy at night and there was no WiFi even though she tried to charge.
Paid for 3 rooms but only used 2. Spoke to the owner of the place he would refund us but never did. I wanted to cancel and Leon told me not to he would sort it out and never got back to me. At least we got some porridge and gravy for free with other guests. I was not pleased that he did not come back to me across the room. The one room did not have enough towels.
The accommodation was beautiful and is situated in a quiet nice location.
I had a request to book earlier due to circumstances and it was made possible by Camelthorn. I was warmly received and everything was neat and clean.
Kameeldoring Gastehuis offers the perfect facilities for business trips. The area is very large and the accommodation has a high capacity tolerance, making it ideal for large groups. Amenities are neat, and the reception by the staff makes any guest feel welcome. Most of the rooms viewed have a work area available for business needs. It also has a small bar fridge and coffee facilities, which is very convenient! Breakfast is not served on site, but at a partner restaurant, Tracy's, which is very close (the breakfast is of very good quality).

Dogs and chicken roaming freely around the house, pooing anywhere, resulting in flies. This was a bad experience as my son is afraid of them resulted. Poor environmental hygiene. Rooms and surroundings not cleaned during our entire stay period.
This place has old furniture. Old beds, owners's clothes kept in the rooms. Toilets not working. Doors to the bathroom broken, must be lifted and put aside to access the bathroom. Shower filthy. Kettle to boil water dusty. Family room, no wall separating the rooms. Dogs and cats all over the property. We had to check out very early to go find a place outside the premises to bath. Basically it was disgusting!
The stay was unpleasant. No fridge, it was cold. The room was not serviced every day.
The manager received us very nicely.
Upon our arrival we were greeted very kindly and was informed about where everything is. The friendly owners offered to make us porridge for our braai meat. Although the campsite is still in early development, it certainly was a place we could recommend.
Friendly people and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived! The rooms were very nice and tidy! Will go again.

We had a great stay and felt very welcome.
Either than dogs. I love the place including the caretaker. I forgot his name but his an awesome guy. I love him and thanks to him.
We had a spacious room and had a nice stay. There is room for improvement and the breakfast was very basic, but we still found our overnight stay satisfactory. The host and hostess very helpful and friendly.
The wasn't a fridge in the room. There was no teaspoons to make coffee with. Old tiny bottles of body wash was standing around.
Bathroom wasn't clean. The facilities we had to use to cook weren't clean either. We had to wait in front of the gate, because they didn't expect us at all.
Location is not safe, could not lock doors!
The grass was long, the rooms were warm and there was no fan or aircon. When we got there we were welcomed professionally, but there was a party on the lawn. Our door had trouble opening and closing and te key needed to be twisted more than a few times for the lock to open. Otherwise, a good reception and a clean room.
A warm welcome by Mrs Popi the helper and Leon was very supportive. They made us to feel at home.
I arrived at the guesthouse only to be told that it fully booked whereas I already paid. And they prepared a dirty room for me just so I can sleep in a house and leave early morning. I wasn't impressed at all.
