We had a lovely stay at Kampfontein. Roelien is a great host, she communicates well and her team treated us with a fantastic breakfast every morning. The rooms are comfortable and include all the amenities you need.
Stunning rooms and magnificent night sky and sunset. Rooms were clean and modern. All you needed.

We arrived after 14h00 on a Sunday, and all the shops were finished in De Aar, the hostess Ronell and her husband PJ, were so friendly and spoiled us with barbecue and venison from their hunting farm's fridges. Children could have fun in the pool and rest after the long drive in the car, we will stop here every year.
Neat, clean rooms and very tasty breakfast.
The breakfast was underwhelming. The WiFi didn't connect even with the instructions given.
I really love the Karoo and often visit the Northern Cape for business. I feel that Kampfontein did not offer me that Karoo hospitality. It is listed as luxury accommodation but it was anything but. Not at all what I expected for the price. We found a place to stay elsewhere.
Very clean and tidy, the four-legged guards are everything! Thank you very much for a short but nice night's rest!

Not too fond of the gunshots near the homestead that suddenly rang out after sun down during our first night. Otherwise very nice stay.
Neat rooms, great coffee and other treats. Breakfast very nice with freshly made variety. Beautiful garden. Nice people.

Very neat rooms with everything you need. Good security. Meals were delicious. Bathroom paint needs maintenance.
Group will go to Lamberts again if they can spend the night again at Kamfontein.
Friendly hosts! Great rooms! Tasty meals in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere! Nice environment! And cute dogs!
We only stayed overnight but this is definitely the place for a weary traveller. Only 1 problem: because we were not informed in advance that we had to book early for dinner, there was no food for us. We didn't get there until after 15h00 and then had to eat in De Aar. Can definitely recommend it.
Would stay here again at a later stage.
