This area of the klein karoo is exceptionally beautiful. This particular room is very inexpensive, but extremely rustic. Communication with the host was very good via whatsapp.

We got terribly lost. We were without phone signal and cut off from the world. We didn't know where to go. After an hour of driving around on bad dirt roads, we found people at the dam wall and asked for directions. When we finally found the place, there was no internet, which was very disappointing because I couldn't let my kids know we were safe and I couldn't do my job. Quiet place with a breathtaking view. Beautiful place, beautifully laid out.

This is the ideal overnight stop between the Cape and Kimberley. Silver clean and very friendly reception. Just 1 request, 2 chairs on which one can comfortably sit outside while grilling meat will work, otherwise everything is perfect and there are no complaints.

My cottage was basic, not suitable for choosy travelers, but great for my purpose, which was looking for Karoo birds. Hosts are friendly and helpful. No cell phone reception, but there is Internet access for WhatsApp.

Good value accommodation. Beautiful mountain location and very good dirt road access. Comfortable and reasonably equipped. Night sky is breathtaking. Make sure to provide filtered water, or advise guests to bring their own.
All basic needs provided, we have no complaints.

For foreigners and city people, the trip there will be a wonderful experience. On your arrival you are warmly received as only farm people can do, wonderfully hospitable.
