I'm out of words to explain how wonderful super and nice the Karibu Guest House was to us. As for the hospitality, Miss Angela and her helper, Maria, plus Angela's husband are good people. They made our stay super great. I'll definitely book here again.

We were only disappointed that we had to share a bathroom with other guests. There was also no shower. For some people, it's just not possible to get in and out of a bath.
We had a very bad experience as we could not make use of the accommodation. The standard of the room and facilities was very poor and totally unacceptable. Upon arrival, a woman (whose appearance was very sloppy and her clothes unbelievably dirty) informed us that the room was not available as the previous people were late departing. According to the information I received we could have already signed in at 13:00 and it was 14:00. She showed us the room and we immediately decided that we could not stay there. It was dirty and unhygienic and the service pathetic. We had a tremendous problem because all the surrounding guesthouses, hotels, etc. were fully booked and in the end we had to pay a lot of money to procure accommodation. I was extremely disappointed because I have booked at many places before and have never come across such a thing. I just want to add that the pictures were very misleading. You make decisions with the information available on the website and we lost money we had paid up until that point since it could not be refunded.
Our extended family (12 adults and 4 kids) stayed the long weekend because we had to attend a function. Engela was very accommodating and even allowed us to leave early since we had to travel far and we were tired. Felt as if we were visiting friends! We had the freedom of the entire place and we had a great time in the swimming pool, on the patio and at the braai. Wonderful weekend, we will remember it for a long time. We will definitely be back.

We stayed overnight. It was an absolute fantastic "sleep over". It is clean and safe, and offers value for money and the morning breakfast was out of this world. I will definitely stay there again.

Upon our arrival, my daughter accidentally locked our car keys in the trunk. Engela was a wonderful hostess who took such good care of us when we couldn't drive to eat. The "locksmith" set off our alarm how many times, but she was just concerned and supportive. We had to participate in a dance competition and the situation was stressful. When my husband arrived from Kroonstad the next morning with a key, she welcomed him and invited him to have breakfast with us. The room is first class and the surroundings safe and peaceful. We highly recommend it and will use the hospitality again when we are in the area.

The keys and parking were such that we didn't have to bother anyone with our stay. Breakfast was ready when we woke up and our hostess was friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience! Karibu is situated in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Engela was extremely helpful and friendly and served a wonderful breakfast.
Engela was very friendly, willing to help whenever we needed her assistance with anything. Breakfast was lovely and we slept well. Just think all bedrooms must get white linen because with dark colors it just feels as though you're the 2nd person sleeping in them before they get changed.

Everything was very nice. Engela is friendly and helpful. We arrived late and she kindly waited for us. All that was bad is that the wooden bed creaks terribly. There is also no shower in the bathroom. Furthermore, everything was very neat and clean.

It was awkward to get in and out of the bath which had a shower in it. There was no separate shower. Wooden floors creaked so it can be noisy at night. Otherwise, wonderful.
