My husband and I went to Jeffreys Bay and spent the night at Karoo Cottage. The hostess communicated with us from the time our reservation was confirmed until we arrived. She kept us updated on the load shedding schedule and patiently answered my questions. When we arrived they were already waiting for us. The house was wonderfully cool, clean and tidy and everything we needed was there. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again.
Vehicles are safe and the cottage is equipped with everything one needs. The accommodation at Karoo Cottage is guaranteed value for money and neat and clean with all the necessary equipment for self-catering.
We spent three nights at Karoo Cottage. It is a cute little place that is very comfortably furnished. We had everything we needed: could heat our own food, had WiFi, etc. We were able to park the car safely behind a gate. There was a problem with the gas geyser but it has been sorted out. Barbara is friendly and helpful.
Host was very helpful and went the extra mile.

Spacious and air-conditioned to ensure comfort against the heat. Perfect as a base for day trips to the Mountain Zebra National Park which we took full advantage of. Highly recommended.

People recommended nice places to eat for dinner even before we got there. Ludi welcomed us and made us feel at home. Could do with a heater in the living room, evenings are cold in the Karoo.
WiFi is available free of charge which helps a lot in the case as a traveller. Nice quiet area of Cradock.

Comfortable place if you still want to do computer work. Enough space with a nice table to work on.
An ideal option for a visit to Cradock, and definitely value for money. The apartment is one of two (next to each other) in a quiet residential area, with secure parking under a canopy behind a gate. Well-equipped kitchenette, with all the necessary facilities for a shorter or longer visit, and space in the apartment itself. The porch is a lovely bonus. Anél was always available for arrangements regarding our arrival, and received us kindly.

Nice stay.
We were not happy with the hot water situation. Water simply cuts out and you stand under icy water with hair full of shampoo. After that, the kettle boils and the situation is resolved with cups and bottles. The exact same thing happened to my husband. Is the hot water that on a time slot.
