The open-plan cottage features a comfortable queen-size bed with mosquito net, an old-fashioned wood burning Dover stove fireplace for winter warmth, a cosy sitting area with good lighting for romance or reading, a well-equipped kitchenette with microwave and oven and a bathroom with bath but no shower. A sheltered outdoor shower with hot water is available for guest use.
Karoo Cottage is not equipped with a TV but has a CD player and a selection of CD's for some background music. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. Shady nooks in the garden for reclining, reading or some entertaining bird watching and an inviting saltwater pool are yours to enjoy.
Being a village with some good eating places and pubs and just 20 minutes drive from Robertson and the surrounding wine estates, there is no shortage of places to visit, however if complete rest is the order of the day, stay in and braai in the secluded open braai area alongside the cottage or weber kettle braai on the patio.
The cottage is owner-managed and serviced by Rob and Cher Graham, who offer unpretentious, personalised quality accommodation with attention to detail, warm hospitality and respect and consideration for your privacy. Enjoy comfort and enjoyment in this homely environment.

The stay was so lovely.
Karoo Cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. The cottage is situated close to the shops and restaurants. An ideal stay-over! We highly recommend it!
Karoo Cottage is well equipped and the joy of climbing into a bed made with lovely linen after a busy day was a treat. Our hosts, Rob and Cher, are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and so helpful. We enjoyed the garden and the bird life is quite special. Will definitely stay there again.

It is a nice cottage with good facilities, especially pool and braai areas. While I was taking a shower outside, the owner (man) walked past me. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Furthermore, their password (WiFi) is G-spot), which is extremely unacceptable. This immediately made me feel uncomfortable.
The cottage has everything you need. It is very neat and comfortable. Our hosts were also very helpful if we needed anything extra.
Loved the swimming pool and the beautiful surrounding garden. So many birds chirping as we cooled down in the pool. Felt at home. Enjoyed the outdoor shower. The cottage had everything we needed and was nice and cool over the hot weekend.
Rob an Cheer are warm welcoming hosts who do not disturb your own privacy. The Cottage is beautiful and well equipped - both in kitchen and entertainment area (CD player, board games, magazines & books) the garden unique and beauteous - a paradise for many birds we enjoyed some relaxing time by the pool. I will definitely come back for a weekend to switch off.
We had a lovely weekend in Rob and Cher's beautiful Karoo Cottage. The accommodation is equipped with everything from mosquito nets to even a CD player. The garden is a loop court and we really enjoyed watching and listening for all the birds. What makes Karoo Cottage so special is that you will also be able to visit in the winter. I can already see myself sitting on the sofa in front of the sofa and reading a book. We would be able to recommend Karoo Cottage to anyone with great enthusiasm.
The house was very neat, just a pity there was no shower in the house. There is an outside shower which we were not comfortable with as it is right under two of the house windows. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Owners are lovely people, very considerate and helpful!

Loved the attention to detail throughout the lovely cottage. Felt like a princess in the soft bed with deluxe linen. Loved staying there and will definitely go again!
The owners went out of their way to welcome us, and assist us with information. The cottage has all you require, and is decorated in a stylishly artistic manner. A friendly cat, Toby, joins in with enthusiasm. The braai and outdoor area are lovely, and well above the utilitarian, and the outdoor shower is a winner. And a local restaurant provided an outstanding meal at a reasonable price. All in all, a really relaxing stay in a quiet and interesting village.
Rob and Cher were most kind. The cottage was well maintained, well equipped and ultra clean. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower, as well as the pool and braai area. Highly recommended!
We are definitely going back to Karoo Cottage. We have been in the town for a few holidays but Karoo Cottage and the friendly owners, Rob and Cher are very special. We had a very nice stay, the best of all.
Characterful cottage, friendly hosts and well positioned in McGregor. The lovely garden and pool and outside shower are shared with the hosts, but they are discrete and did not hamper our enjoyment of these shared spaces.
Lovely place, very clean and cozy.
