"Excellent self-catering unit with a nice stoep and braai area."

Karoo Magic was 'magic' just as the name says. The double storey unit on the owner's premises has everything you need for a very convenient and comfortable stay for sure. The lower part of the unit consisted of an open plan kitchen and lounge area. The kitchen had a large refrigerator, microwave, and a two-plate oven. The washing up area had soap and drying cloths. The sitting area consisted of two easy chairs and a sofa under the stairs leading to the upper floor. Coffee, tea, sugar, and fresh milk were provided, as well as cold water in the fridge. The upper floor has a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, two comfortable chairs, air conditioning, a king size bed with quality white linen, as well as an electric blanket on the bed. The mattress was of good quality and it slept very comfortably. The bathroom has a shower and the water was hot very quickly to ensure a nice shower. The sink had luxurious hand soap and hand cream. Thanks for the nice treat. There were large white bath towels as well as hand towels provided. The covered porch was a delight to visit and barbecue. There was a braai area with braai wood which was provided by the hostess and which was cleaned after the previous night's braai. Thank you very much. The table and chairs were comfortable to eat at and there were also two easy chairs to sit at. The braai area overlooks a beautifully maintained garden. The entire property is fenced, making it very safe for you and your pets. There were security lights illuminating the area for safety. The unit had unlimited WiFi which worked great. The only downside was the long, steep open staircase with 13 steps to the upper part where the bedroom and bathroom are. It was not mentioned in the description, nor was there a photo of the staircase. This was a challenge for me as I have difficulty walking and struggle with stairs. Apart from the stairs, Karoo Magic was beautifully clean, comfortable self-catering accommodation. You could park your car right in front of the door which made loading and unloading very comfortable. The hostess was very friendly, and she respected our privacy. We had good communication. Our stay was really very enjoyable, and we can recommend Karoo Magic as excellent, safe, pet-friendly accommodation. Thank you Karoo Magic for 2 fantastic days with you. We enjoyed it very much.

The place is pet-friendly, we travelled with 2 yorkies, who walked around free there. There is a nice private braai area, which is private and spacious. It was a delightful stay.

Karoo Magic is a superbly appointed garden cottage with a spacious kitchen, living area and separate bedroom on the upstairs level. The covered braai patio was comfortable with lovely views of the surrounding hills. Use of the pool was most welcome, swim towels provided. A lovely stay.
