The cottage is ideal for 2 people with a pet. Excellently planned with everything needed and nice space in the olive grove for dogs to run around.
Tasteful and durable decor. Very comfortable furniture. Beautiful and well equipped kitchen. Lovely bed. Can definitely recommend.
We like to stop in Prins Albert and really enjoyed the accommodation to the evening meal at Prins Albert Cafe.
We really enjoyed our visit and stay at Karoo Masterclass Cottage. There was definitely a lot of effort put into making it comfortable for us.
Excellent location. Everything is new and clean. Slept great - king size bed has the perfect mattress. Table and chairs on the veranda for dining/work. There are also 2 easy chairs - but a daybed or hammock would have completed the picture. For city dwellers like us, we would like to be able to turn on the house alarm in the evening.
We had a great time at Howard and Marion's Karoo Masterclass Cottage. The cottage is excellently equipped and the food is excellent. It is also nice and spacious with a gigantic bed! It is truly a master class experience.
Power problems - don't know if it was Eskom or battery system.
It's our first 'sleep over' in Prince Albert and next time we will definitely book here again. Beautiful place, most beautiful garden and we had so much fun barbecuing under the stars in the garden with the braai pack that was provided! Heaven in the Karoo.
This cottage is a must if you are staying overnight in Prince Albert. Beautiful view and the units are well equipped with everything you could need. Howard was the best host and makes sure his customers are happy and have everything. Will definitely stay there again.
The house is nice but cosy. It will be nice in the summer to have a barbecue outside and to be able to swim and stargaze in the splash pool which can also be heated.
The accommodation is in another class.
In Prince Albert it is a well located, very nice house. "Upmarket" type place, very nicely done and friendly service.
Perfect location, a luxury beautifuly decorated space and lovely to have private garden as well. My only negative feedback is that I would have loved to have cooked a meal (we were on a roadtrip and were a bit tired of eating all meals in restaurants by that point) and think for the kind of accommodation this is, a 2nd induction plate would have been nice (as there is no stove). Part of the reason for booking self-catering was so we could eat-in.
We had a nice stay. However, we expected there to be two bedrooms. Unfortunately, our children had to sleep on a sofa bed in the TV room and live out of their suitcases. Furthermore, it was very nice, well equipped and conveniently close to places to eat. Host helped us nicely to visit attractions.
Howard and his team deserve very high price. Everything was absolutely perfect. If you want to enjoy a Prince Albert experience with absolute comfort there is simply no equal. Thanks for a red-letter Christmas!
Lovely stay, quiet and private. Own wading pool, full DStv and everything and more than is needed.
Excellent well thought out accommodation.
