Very comfortable place to stay, with all kinds of surprises and extras that you don't expect when you stay overnight at a place. Helpful, hospitable owners.
Very well kept, neat, clean - everything a weary traveler could want.
Very enjoyable, particularly because of the friendly hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home and prepared a delicious meal for each of us (one carnivore and one vegetarian!). Being Freedom Day, there were no restaurants open in town. We also appreciated the pleasant surroundings, clean and attractively situated room, and a very comfortable bed.

Had a great stay and was received with typical Karoo hospitality. The host and hostess welcomed us with a barbecue fire and mutton chops that had been arranged in advance. Thank you again for a great experience!

Everything was great! The only improvement I can suggest is that the shower should be a bit warmer. The water was lukewarm, but we managed just fine!

Very friendly hostess. She had room to accommodate my large dog. The apartment is comfortably furnished and has a good quality bed for a tired body to rest.

Warm welcome by the host and hostess. Our unit was meticulously maintained and has everything you need for self-catering. We had a meat roast and our host took care of enough wood while our hostess prepared some chops (which I had arranged with her in advance) for us. The two glasses of sweet wine in the room made us feel very special. For the price you pay you don't expect such treatment.
Karen was a perfect host, room was so clean, shower great, had a lovely braai and their chops were so tasty.

We spent the night here on our way to the West Coast from Johannesburg. Karen and her husband are very friendly. They keep lamb chops and sausages that you can buy, so we didn't even have to go and find a butchery which helped a lot. Inside was a nice sherry surprise! Secure parking within the premises. Two braai places to choose from. Will definitely recommend.

For the price it is definitely value for money. Most beautiful, friendly people, everything you need and more. The air conditioning in the room is an enormous plus during 40° temperatures. See you again next time we visit Vosburg.

Karen and Frans made us feel very welcome - and our 2 big dogs had an equally enjoyable stay. On our arrival there was already a fire ready for us. Thank you very much for that. And the next morning we were deliciously spoiled with condensed milk coffee, rusks and cookies - all homemade. We will definitely spend the night there again and are already telling all our friends and family about the gem in the Northern Cape.

Vosburg is the ideal, peaceful Karoodorp. Karen and Frans are a host and hostess who make you feel right at home - you can tell from the moment you walk in that they care and are interested. I had a wonderful stay at Karoo Pomp and can recommend it. TV and WiFi are completely unnecessary!

Karen and Frans made us feel welcome and at home when we got off, even came to visit with us later and answered and told all our questions about the area. Place has everything needed and outside is a very nice place to relax. Our Jack Russel was also warmly received and could walk around the garden. Had a nice breakfast next morning. Here it feels as if you are saying goodbye to family when you drive again the next morning. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Thanks Karen and Frans, we drove away fresh from there.
Uncle Frans goes to great lengths and is a place to relax. Enjoy the birds and silence. Friendly reception, you feel at home.
We had a very pleasant stay. Was warmly received and the facilities are exceptional. The delicious Karook coffee and breakfast is recommended! The owners really go the extra mile for their guests!
