Had a great stay and the host was always on hand for any uncertainty via WhatsApp.
Was peaceful, beautiful, clean and everything one needed.
Klara was a great hostess with frequent visits to make sure we had everything we needed. Just want to stay much longer.

Our weekend stay could not have been better. Klara is a very friendly and helpful lady and often asked us if everything was still okay. We felt very safe in the quiet Karo village. The church across the road is the most beautiful building and the ringing of the church bell on Sunday morning was special. Residents of Williston are very friendly. Would definitely recommend Karoo Tranquility if you are looking for accommodation in Williston.
We spent the night at Karoo Tranquility before walking the RSG Camino. Unbelievably nice house. Very nicely furnished and luxurious.

Easy to find and not on the main road so very peaceful. It's an old house with charm and for our group of three adults, it served it's purpose perfectly as our dogs also accompanied us on the trip. Thank you to Klara for permitting their stay. There is also off-street parking. We will definitely recommend Karoo Tranquillity.
The location of this tranquil house is great for an overnight on a road trip. The house is large and has enough space for big groups. Klara was friendly and helpful! Will definitely recommend staying here!
We were a family of 8 adults and everyone slept great, enough hot water to shower and each a hot water bag, just a shame some beds didn't have warm blankets or electric blankets and 2 rooms didn't have heaters either. Fortunately, it wasn't as cold as it can get in the Karoo this weekend. The cupboards in the rooms are beautiful, but not tidy inside. In the kitchen there is basically everything that is needed, except that there were not enough large plates and normal cutlery for everyone. All apart from the one heater is in good working condition, just a pity the freezer was full of private things, but at least we could have got our meat in there too. Furthermore, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again in the future!

Unfortunately the house was not very clean, it certainly does not meet the standard as advertised, and is certainly not worth the money unfortunately. It looks like someone lives in the house permanently, and then just quickly moved it right for our arrival. There is no Wifi as advertised.
Very neat house with plenty of sleeping space and is just around the corner from a delicious restaurant.
The place is in a rural village, but Klara, the owner, made the stay very pleasant through her well-thought-out arrangement of the house as well as her helpfulness and friendliness. Her focus on small details such as groceries for self-catering, electric blankets, wood for fires, quality and enough toilet paper and even enough towels for everyone meant a lot. She even called constantly and also stopped by to make sure we were helped.

Karoo Tranquillity is a beautiful home in the quaint town of Williston. I am so glad to have seen this part of South Africa recently and to have stayed in this exceptional home. We loved everything about our time here including the wonderful hostess Klara who organised everything perfectly for our stay.
The house is very beautiful and very spacious with large bedrooms. The children enjoyed their room very much and played well. Klara made a lot of effort and was always available if we needed anything. Real home where one just wants to stay. Will be back again for sure.
We stayed for a weekend. Absolutely loved the house. The place is very clean. Well equipped with all that you need. Very safe environment and friendly service from Klara. Highly recommended.
We were concerned about the parking of vehicles in the street. Decent coffee/milk a problem. Very clean and tidy, will definitely stay there again.

We had an awesome stopover here. House is fully equipped and child friendly. Not to mention large rooms. Great host as well.
It was very pleasant for us to stay here. It's a beautiful old house, a place I'd want to pack up and stay. Klara is an excellent hostess and made us feel very much at home. Would I stay there again, definitely. I will plan my route like this and spend more than one night next time.
