Amazing place to stay. Had a great time.
Neat, comfortably furnished house with everything you could need for a lazy visit. Merweville is a beautiful small town in the Karoo. Take your friends with you and enjoy the hospitality of the countryside.
No one ever asked us for the balance of the payment. Maybe it's because we car problems only arrived late in the evening. I'm still happy to pay it.
Merweville is s quite place. In the evening the village is dead. Great night sky.
The house is absolutely beautiful - a nice country feel. It has everything you need. The beds sleep so well. Everything is fresh and there are no musty smells. It's really just nice man! The village is beautiful - the people even better and the stories - the best! Thank you for a lovely visit! We would love to visit there again!
We had a great time in the tranquility of the Karoo. Karoo Vreugde is fully equipped with everything you need and we will definitely visit again.
Great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Take family and friends and have a nice time together around the fire and enjoy the stars above you.
Karoo Vreugde is ideally located directly opposite Die Boekklub coffee shop and within walking distance of the butcher and Merweville Mall. The town is then between 13:00 and 14:00 and sometimes water down until 18:00 in the evening. The house is well furnished with everything one needs. There are many mosquitoes. However, the house has the necessary Doom and fire spirals to deal with it.
Excellent, great service. Friendly reception.
Very nice place, people, hostess friendly. Farmhouse excellent, wanted to pick up house and bring with me.
Karoo Joy is just that. Joy in the Karoo. The house is very clean and tidy and equipped with everything you could need. Aunt Bettie who looks after the guest house is so friendly and hospitable, it's hard not to invite her for a barbecue. Then the friendliness of the town's people is quite something to mention. Karoo Vreugde will definitely see me again. The church that is framed by the trees in the yard with lighting around the church and the stars that shine so brightly one could not ask for better.
Merweville is always very busy during the Thanksgiving weekend and accommodation quickly gets booked up. We found the town, like the house, very neat and clean. We immediately felt welcome: Corlia passed on complete arrangements and made sure we found the place easily and Bettie was very friendly and helpful and followed up during our stay to see if everything was going well. Furthermore, we are granted privacy. The house is well equipped with everything you need. I can recommend this accommodation anytime!
We had a great time relaxing and having a good time in Merweville. The reception by aunt Bettie was very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and much more, really great facilities. We can all highly recommend Karoo Vreugde.
Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Perfect place to break away from the city environment. The house is very neat. We were kindly received and had a great time. I would recommend Karoo Vreugde to anyone.
Merweville is a great holiday town. Peaceful. And the people are the friendliest I've ever met. At the Dutch Reformed Church you can climb the tower to the top and experience a 360º view over the town. It was fantastic. It is most definitely a visit-again town.
If you want to experience the charm of the Karoo, make sure you visit Karoo Vreugde.
Karoo Vreugde is a real Karoo house, with everything you need and even more to make your visit comfortable. Clean and tidy and the very friendly owners. Thank you very much for sharing this Karoo gem with us! We really enjoyed our time.
Karoo Vreugde met all our needs. My goal was that all my children will be together on Father's Day and that we will experience the Karoo's people and their kindness. The house was very clean and beds sleep like a dream. Aunt Bettie brought candles when Eskom prevented us from watching the rugby. The games in the house were put to good use on the porch and we had good, wholesome family time. I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to relax and get the best value for money.
