Some comments: Neat and beautifully furnished house. The booked house was occupied, with incomplete information via WhatsApp we were placed in another house. The self-catering facilities in this house did not match what we had booked. Impersonal approach, no one seen or spoken to, communication only via WhatsApp. WiFi: weak and barely usable. TV: didn't work, no signal. In summary: disappointing.
This will be our stopover in Graaff-Reinet always. Everything about Karoosjiek is simply perfect. The accommodation is clean, everything works, is beautifully yet comfortably furnished. The extra little welcoming touches are so welcome after a really long day on the road.
This little place is such a gem in the Karoo. Tastefully furnished and good linen. Lovely bathroom. Lovely view. Quiet and lots of space. Very friendly hostess who makes a lot of extra effort. There is absolutely nothing short. Definitely my new overnight place in Graaff-Reinet.
The place was clean, bedding fresh and clean.
We were pleasantly surprised by the cottage. Everything you would need was there especially to braai.
When you spend the night so well on your way to the Cape, you actually wish you had stayed an extra day to enjoy the facilities and area better. Our dogs and children were welcome and they could stretch their legs on the lawn, while my husband and I could relax with a cup of coffee and the tastiest home-made biscuits. Thank you Leticia.
We were a family of five staying over for two days. It was a lovely stay, just outside the bustling city of Graaff-Reinet. The accommodation is in a little dorpie called Adendorp. Nice, quiet and clean. The landlady was very friendly and helpful and the Cottage had sufficient bedding and sofas to facilitate a relaxing stay. I recommend Karoosjiek to anyone who wants to stay over in the Graaff-Reinet vicinity.
