Even though it was a hot time of the year, we had a great stay and especially appreciated the cool pool. Tasty breakfasts and dinners are provided on the stoep. The hospitable driver also recommended several interesting attractions in Loxton which we visited.

Beautiful village in the heart of the Karoo. Really enjoyed and highly appreciated Karos' five star service, food and facilities after a long journey through the Karoo.
Here you can simply stay for a few days and have a good look at the area. They look after you very well and make you feel special after a long day.
Very happy, they just don't cater for people who don't eat vegetables and don't listen to requests.

The rooms are spacious, very well appointed and would met the requirements of 99% of travellers.
This guest house is top notch neat, fine and extremely tasteful finishing is visible everywhere. Good and durable mattresses, just right for a tired or injured back. Beautifully located. Heard rain all night which was a bonus of course. Delicious food and an invigorating jog in the early morning.
One makes an effort to get to Loxton and after a long day on the road (dirt road) it is nice to spend the night at Karos. Loxton is a special town and Karos contributes to that.
Welcomed us in even though we were a bit earlier. Really peaceful if you want to just switch off as there really is nothing much to do except walk, visit the art gallery.

Karos is a gem of a place. Very carefully furnished with beautiful furniture and exceptional carpets. Room with fireplace and fabulous en-suite bathroom. Mandy is a warm, friendly hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Dinner was excellent and very nicely served. So is breakfast. We will definitely visit Karos again.
A luxurious guest house in a very special Karoo town. Mandy and her staff made us feel very welcome and saw to our every need in a very efficient and friendly manner. Lovely Karoo-style evening meals and a super breakfast spread. The homemade muffins were yummy. A peaceful, tranquil setting on the edge of the town, a perfect place to be calm and catch your breadth. A special town, a special guesthouse and very special people.
