This eco-friendly, solar and gas-powered cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, and the second room is equipped with 2 single beds. The bathroom features a shower, basin, and toilet.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has everything you need, very comfortable, neat and clean. The views are breath-taking. The peace and quiet cleans the soul. Especially at night when you sit by the fire and hear nothing but an owl. We had a visit from an aardvark the first night which was very special. Our first time seeing one in the wild. We also took a 6 km hike where we saw lots of wild life. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an awesome weekend.
We have always wanted to spend the night on a farm on the way from Brits to the Eastern Cape and experience the silence, sunset, stars and sounds of nature. Karri Grove Guest House lived up to this.
Excellent beds. Friendly and hospitable host. Quite a long stretch of dirt road. The advantage is that you are far from any artificial light - so you can see the thousands of stars at night. Despite the drought, the environment is very beautiful. The little splashpool pond was a big hit! I would happily recommend Karri Grove!
The cottage was very neat and clean and well equipped. The hospitality was excellent. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone who needs rest. Quiet and in nature. You can relax here and enjoy nature. House was neat and clean and equipped with everything needed. Very friendly owner and would recommend this place to everyone. Lovely hiking trails and many mountain bike trails that are challenging. We could drive for miles and see many antiquities on the routes. It was very interesting. They also offer game drives which were lovely.
We rested well and were spoiled with Joe's delicious lamb bacon and springbok carpaccio! Our children really enjoyed playing with Skye (Joe's sheep dog) and in the little pool. The house is also very well furnished, we lacked nothing. Thank you so much Joe for a great weekend!
Joe is very friendly and thorough with his service. We stayed over for 2 nights and it was nice. It is so quiet at night that you can hear your own heartbeat. Lovely facilities and safe on the far. Not far from Graaff-Reinet.
Last day of our holiday we wanted to spend it somewhere where we can relax in a swimming pool, because Graaff-Reinet is always hot. I told my family that travelled with us, don't worry, at least we can swim when we get there, because as usual it was very hot. On the website they have a swimming pool, a private pool, a fan, river for canoeing etc. Got there no private pool or swimming pool, the fan is the size of my hand and there was no river. I understand that there was no rain for 2 years, but sorry then you have to remove your pictures because you pay for what you see in the pictures, I would have never taken this place if I knew this before.
I feel that for the price paid you expect just that little bit more to make it into what we were hoping for. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed our stay. fire place inside had been used and not cleaned. Monkey poo on the stoep and bench outside. dubbeltjies on carpets inside, fridge should be turned on before arrival and shower is either bloody hot or cold. A good idea would be a carport to park under.
