Host were awesome and very helpful. Some beds needs replacing but otherwise rooms were nice and spacious. The fact that the fishing is right on your doorstep was awesome.
Once again a wonderful stay, neat and clean accommodation on the river.
For a large group, more showers would have been more comfortable, instead of baths in rooms. Rooms were generally clean, just a lot of insects in the rooms. Directions for turning on the oven would have helped. Stairs to the upper room should be checked regularly to prevent serious injuries. A separate freezer can help a lot, especially with large groups that have too little freezer space for meat and ice. Water supply to the baths is very slow. A fan in the living area will help in the summer. The roof leaks water into the living area when it rains and drips onto the dining table.
Relaxed atmosphere, we felt right at home. Comfortable and very neatly furnished. Beautiful separate rooms. Ideal for families/friends outings along the Vaal River and also a nice surprise to be able to see wildlife. We will definitely want to go again in summer to be able to use the pool as well.
It is a really cute place where you can have a good time, the rooms are very nice and tidy, everything you need is there. The kitchen is fully equipped, the TV room was comfortable for the children. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly and came every day to make sure everything was in order and if we needed anything. Our holiday was wonderful we didn't want to come back. The location is perfect. We will definitely visit again.

The only disappointment was the fact that the lapa that overlooks the water and is used in the photos to market the property is not part of the property. It belongs to the owner of the property, whose residence is directly next to KayanZee Lodge.
If you are visiting Paris and you are looking for very good accommodation nearby but not in the town itself, you cannot go wrong with KayanZee Lodge. The hostess Stefna keeps an eye on everything and makes sure that things run smoothly.

What a breathtaking place. You are kindly welcomed and looked after. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean and how wonderful that each one has its own bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need and the living area is a nice place to hang out. Fishing, bird watching, walking and relaxing by the pool under lush green trees. Can't wait to visit again.
What a delightful surprise! First of all the hostess constantly kept track of our arrival and then when we eventually arrived, she was waiting in the rain to welcome us to the facility and show us around the place. It is absolutely beautiful and the web site does not do justice to the spectacular view of the river and the entire place. The rooms are amazing and the set-up is so private for individual couples or families staying there together. The pool was sparkling, despite the weather and the place is equipped with everything you need and more! The hostess and her family are very friendly and constantly checked in to see if all was well and also to offer advise on where to go as it was our first visit to Parys - but I can safely say it will not be the last - especially to KayanZee Lodge. My husband and I spent our anniversary there with our children and grandson and he also thoroughly enjoyed himself. Just the drive to and from the gate is wonderful with the all the game that can be seen at such close range - definitely a highlight for my grandson!
