Used the guest house because we had a wedding in town.
Our family of six was very surprised by the clean, tidy and spacious home in which we could spend the night. Sorry we didn't come across Keerweder earlier!
Friendly reception. Simple but stylish, and everything one needs is there.
Accommodation worked very well for a large group, very nice patio and barbecue and well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend.
Really enjoyed it, and is close to other towns to visit.
People in charge are difficult to contact. There are many problems. The sink is leaking, the washing machine floods the studio, there are cockroaches in the kitchen, and at one stage the hot water was switched off. The toilets' outlets were blocked and the municipal services had to clean the piping. All these problems had to be handled by the owner in Johannesburg as the local management never replied.
Got the impression that a different room than the one I booked was hurriedly arranged for us. The room smelled badly of smoke. No advance notice was left regarding the change of accommodation.
We were received so welcome by Ermon and his assistant, thank you very much for the kindness and hospitality. Lovely suite with doors that you can open to the garden and porch where we had a great time relaxing. Equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy with parking space for your car on the premises.
An outside light for the studio unit would be nice, especially if you want to barbecue.
Reception by Lesinda was friendly and professional. The place is wonderfully spacious. Feels like home. Good value for money.

We had a great time! We were a large group who booked the whole place for a family wedding in the area. The house worked really well for us. The place is very spacious - we never once felt like we were in each other's way. We had a nice time on the stoep. The beds were lovely and everything was spotlessly clean. The ceiling fans in each room were a big bonus as well as all the firewood. I would definitely recommend this place and book again anytime.
We had a great time in the spacious unit in a beautiful garden with a special birdlife. The unit is well equipped and we felt very safe (eg car behind a locked gate, alarm system in unit). We plan to return to Keerweder again one day if we visit the Riebeek valley again.
The house is well furnished with all the necessities for a comfortable stay.
For R700 a night I was expecting something more. No television was a bit of a disappointment. No welcoming gift eg. Bottle of wine from the local valley, billing etc. And the R350 charged for cleaning is a bit excessive as nothing was cleaned in my accommodation for the two days I stayed there. The rechargeable light provided for loadshedding was not working at all even after being on charge for the entire day.
The house is beautifully decorated. The beds are such a comfortable sleep. It was such a tranquil, quiet and beautiful stay. We will definitely go back! Value for money!
Will definitely recommend Keerweder to future guests. Everything neat and perfect. Plekkie itself is well maintained with a beautiful garden.
There is not enough space to write about the wonderful experience we enjoyed! Lucinda was gold. She patiently waited for us who checked in late, and kindly showed us around the house. The space exceeded our expectations and we were pleasantly surprised with our toddlers! It was super clean and tidy and we immediately felt at home. The body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms were exactly what we use at home. The comfortable beds made us want to take them home and the towels were soft and cuddly! The large open-plan kitchen was truly a treat for us. The children were safe at the pool, from early to late, and the braai area was tidy and had everything we needed. The garden! Oh my goodness the garden! It's amazing and every room has a door leading to the garden. To sum up, we were happy, comfortable and safe. We were home and my heart aches that we couldn't stay there forever. We'll be back soon!
