Quiet and relaxing!
We enjoyed our stay at Kei Mouth Guest Lodge. Julie-Ann is a fantastic hostess and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The domestic staff were also very friendly and never got in our way. The braai area was very pleasant. Even though it rained a lot, we could still enjoy a braai! Don't forget your mozzie repellent!
The cleaners came in way before check out time. They made a loud noise by chatting, laughing, and cleaning. There were unfortunately spiders at the bottom of the bed. But the landlords are awesome.
Website advertised bed and breakfast. Got there to find breakfast not included. Eaten up by mosquitoes.
The ad was not clear that the room was part of a large house with shared living space. I happened to be the only guest, but it would be unpleasant with strange people in the other rooms. However, if a group books the entire house, it will be a very nice holiday home that is very well equipped.
The guest house was beyond our expectations. The management's help and hospitality surprised us. Would recommend them anytime.
Clean and spacious facilities. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality implements and crockery. Good value for money.
We rented out all the rooms and therefore had the entire house to ourselves, which was perfect for us as a large group of friends. The central location is perfect for getting around as most places in town are within walking distance. The kitchen and braai area was well equipped and made self-catering a pleasant experience. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, being cleaned every day, which was a major plus. Julie-Anne was very friendly and welcoming and ensured that we were taken care of. We highly recommend Kei Mouth Guest Lodge to any friends or family looking for accommodation in the area.
Bedding and towels were quite old. Can maybe spend some money on updates.
It is neglected to mention that the Kei Mouth Guest Lodge is also operated as a backpackers.
Facilities neat, safe and central.
Clean and tidy overnight accommodation. Very nicely equipped for longer stays too.
The staff were friendly and very hospitable. We had a very warm welcome. The accommodation was comfortable and very homely.
For the price extremely poor and what one expects from a 'backpackers' but not a Guest Lodge.
Felt very welcomed by the hosts. Highly recommended.
