Peter and Anjo offer the perfect blend of attentive involvement and privacy. We are changing some of our medium-term travel plans in favour of this cottage and Plett in general and will make a plan to visit again soon.
We had a wonderful stay at Keurbooms River Cottage and wish we had stayed longer. My son really enjoyed fishing along the river and seeing the buck that roam the estate. Peter and Anjo were amazing hosts, the house was really clean, comfortable and neat.

The house is well furnished with a small garden where you can barbecue. Even though the cottage is on the owner's property, it is still very private. The cottage is located in a quiet area and is very safe. The owner received us kindly. We had a very nice stay.

Nice environment. Safe and against the Keurboom more. Most beaches are not accessible to dogs. For the adventurous, this is the place to be. There are just so many adventures to choose from such as walking with the elephants, Zipline etc. Plenty of restaurants and other places to visit.
My family and I cannot get enough of this place. It was absolutely fantastic. Had such a nice stay. We were received with such hospitality and followed up with us all the time if we needed anything else. The place has all the facilities you may need when on holiday. I will definitely stay there again. And next time I'll stay longer.

The cottage is situated in an eco-estate with easy access to the river and very easy access to either Plett or Keurbooms. The host (Peter) was very informative providing all the necessary information about both with some recommendations for eating. The cottage itself was super comfortable with all the necessities for a short stay. Thank you very much Peter for a most enjoyable time.
It is peaceful and the birdlife is exceptional. It is the sea and the countryside. Peter was very helpful and friendly.
