The house can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms, each individually air-conditioned. There is a lounge with plasma-TV that has selected DStv channels and a DVD player, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry with a dishwasher. Outside is a huge, furnished verandah overlooking the splash pool, your own waterhole en outside braai area.
Wild animals roam freely inside the conservancy, but the animals from Kruger and Lionspruit are fenced out. The purpose of the fences is basically to keep lions, hippos, elephants, and rhinos out of the inhabited area. There is, however, no guarantee that these animals would not enter Marloth Park.
Inside Lionspruit all of the Big 5, with the exception of elephants, can be seen on self-drive or professional game drives. The visitors are allowed to get out of their vehicles and there are a few nice picnic spots to enjoy a champagne breakfast in the wild.
Staying at Khaya Umdani brings you as close to the wildlife and nature as when you sleep in a tree inside Kruger, with the only difference being that you enjoy all the comforts of a luxury house.

12 guests' feedbackWe were warmly and very hospitably received. The place is incredibly beautiful and very well equipped. It's peaceful and the animals have come to the pool and come to drink water, will go back there again at any time.
We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back to visit Khaya Umdani again soon. The location is fantastic, not too busy and you feel a bit secluded on your own which is great. Good fun for us bird watchers too!
House is excellently equipped. Friendly reception. Afternoons a delicious bonus.
We experienced everything very well. Louise was excellent and went out of her way to support us, even with information about the place and Mozambique. The cleaners are professional and pleasant. Bedding and kitchen equipment are good quality. We would highly recommend it.
I would like to complain about the misconception of booking "Khaya Umdani". When I booked on your site I was under the impression I was booking the Khaya Umdani House by that name in Marloth. Upon arrival we started unpacking only to be told we were at the wrong house and that we actually booked another one. Upon closer examination of my confirmation email I did see in small print this other house's name. But when I made the booking I was under the impression I was booking Khaya Umdani. Apparently there are 12 houses that are rented out, all under the Khaya Umdani name. This is very misleading, and I was very angry and irritated on arrival day when I was told I was wrong. This matter must be seen to so that other people arent led to believe they are booking Khaya Umdani itself.
It was a privilege to be able to go home there! Five star accommodation with breathtaking nature around you! Friendly and helpful staff!
Had no complaints whatsoever. Was really a fabulous place and will definitely come again.
Beautiful, luxurious selfcatering Bush House. Realy enjoyed our stay there and WILL definitely return one day!
Louise was a wonderful hostess. Any problems were rectified immediately. The house was equipped with every possible necessity. It was cleaned everyday by friendly staff. The surrounding environment was tranquil and beautiful. I will definitely recommend Khaya Umdani.
My best stay ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there it is so well equipped you couldn't want for anything. Just a bit disappointed in the cleaners. I told the man that there were ear buds under the cushions and it was very dirty under them he didn't even bother to clean the mess away or dust properly. I am not blaming the owners as we have places as well that we rely on other people to look after and it is difficult. Cutlery, pots, dishes all spotless so no complaint there it was just the TV area that was really bad. The cleaners just need a wrap on the knuckles. We would definitely love to go back with our Family next time.
Compliments to Louis and laurika. They turned my disappointment into an amazing experience. Loved the braai and the excursion they arranged. Value for money
