Offering an African bushveld experience, the multi-storey unit can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children and comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a large bath and an outdoor shower. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, and a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the outdoor dining table. Catering can also be arranged upon request. Wood, firelighters, and ice are not provided and guests please need to bring their own.
The cosy lounge is equipped with a TV with Showmax and Netflix, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.
The living area opens onto an enclosed patio that overlooks the swimming pool, and boma braai area. Parking is available. All the rooms are non-smoking areas, and guests are welcome to smoke outside.
Daily housekeeping, excluding public holidays or Sundays, and transport, tours, and a shuttle service can be arranged on request. Special housekeeping service is available on request at an additional cost.
Guests can go on a game drive in their own vehicle to view the abundant game on the estate or go birdwatching at the raised hides at the 2 dams. Mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and a spa experience are also available nearby with galleries, shops, and pubs in Hoedspruit.

5 guests' feedbackI was looking for a safe getaway for me as a single traveler and this was the perfect place.
General stuff in the house like chairs are torn and damaged. Managing agents and cleaning lady are all super attentive helpful and friendly. Owners need to invest money into their home and replace the broken cutlery, mismatched glasses, torn outside chairs and damaged oven. It needs a lot of love and attention. Location is perfect! Pretty decor.
It was lovely to get away from the city and relax quietly in the forest. Thanks for a good time.
Khiza bush retreat is a truly rustic, bush experience. It was very much relaxing however with it being in the bush, there is no place outside for small children to play.
The unit was extremely full of dust due to the thatched roof which had recently been redone according to the housekeeper's information. Swimming pool, fridge as well as the oven were not clean at all. The type of carpeting in the unit also sheds a lot of lint. Furthermore, the location is good and close to everything. Very calm.

The road to Khiza is paved, except for the driveway which is gravel for about 10m, the road is considered easily accessible and suitable for any car to drive on.
