The kitchen is well-equipped and overlooks the comfortable lounge with dark leather couches. The spacious living area leads out onto a wooden deck and great views of the Bushveld, abundant fauna and flora and the Vaal River. The unit has both indoor and outdoor braai facilities.
The lodge offers 100 meters of riverfront that can be enjoyed by avid fly fishers or leisure seekers just soaking up the peace and tranquility of pristine landscape. Other activities like hiking and mountain biking can also be enjoyed at the lodge.
Please take note that pets are not allowed. Noise must please be kept to the minimum.

Everything was neat and clean. There is everything you need. My boys and I caught a lot of nice fish, I struggled to get them so we could start packing. They still wanted to stay.
Kiepersol is a very beautiful and safe destination and Sarie (the owner) makes sure that everything runs smoothly. Will definitely recommend Kiepersol and visit again myself.
Got very good information before our arrival. House was very comfortable and well equipped. Hanging out around the camp fire and fishing were some of our high points.
There was blood on the main bedroom floor. Rat urine in the guest bedroom in the bed, snake skin on the the patio. The lady was incredibly rude! She shouted at me. Unaccommodating in terms of language barrier - everything was sent in Afrikaans. I am English. She sent the wrong location and it took an extra 3 hours to get there - she was rude to me and my boyfriend when trying to get the correct location. Screaming and shouting at us - very unprofessional.
It was the perfect getaway place for me and my family. The unit is completely private on the river and in the forest with mountains surrounding it. The unit has a nice boma area for a fire in the evening and jacuzzi on the deck, all overlooking the river. The owner was also very helpful. One knew exactly what was true and what would be needed for the weekend from your side, so there were no unpleasant surprises.
Kiepersol House was very comfortable, everything and more were available which made our visit enjoyable. Sarie sent so much information and more to help us! Thank you very much!

We were a group of friends who stayed at Kiepersol and safety was very important to us because we were just women. We felt absolutely safe! Kiepersol is a lovely place!
Arrived there on Friday afternoon, just to find the place closed with no key in sight. To contact the owner, we had to drive back to tar road due to no reception. After many calls the owner replied with 'you can't remember saying in the mail soon where the key is'. Monday read my mails again (just to check) with no key. I requested that particular mail from the owner, after which she called me and was less friendly, on the contrary warned me if I sent a bad review, she would just send the screenshots of all her emails that made her trouble . The screenshots will be mails and Whatapp messages of all the rules and regulations, where you have to put on and off, bring your own toilet paper and dish soap, no music, no parties and R500 breakages to be paid. I took my two puppies, for which I asked right from the start, but no one answered me.
Incredibly neat, easy to get there and beautiful views. To enjoy is with friends is ideal. Rooms are well-appointed and the place is so well-equipped for cold and hot times. Interior braai and fireplaces, outdoor boma, really a thumbs up.
Was incredibly nice! Couldn't ask for a better place to spend a birthday, family reunion and anniversary celebration. The sleep arrangements were excellent. I loved the Jacuzzi and the fact that you could move from every room to the rest of the house. Sarie was very friendly and gave us a layout of information via email. She was also available should there be a problem. The right place to relax and socialise.
Although kitchen space is very tight, it was generally luxuriously furnished. An extra bathroom would have made it much more comfortable. In general it was very nice clean and tidy. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful nature. Would love to visit longer!

Thanks so much Sarie, for all your prior arrangements and info as well as directions. Beautiful place on the banks of the Vaal with everything you need. So beautiful and modern. We had a great long weekend and will book again in summertime. Just remember, quiet is king here.
Very neat, clean and compact. Lovely place to rest! Peaceful atmosphere, Jacuzzi is very relaxing.
It was terribly dirty. All the floors were dirty and sticky. We had to wash all the cutlery and pots etc before we could use them. The shower was terribly dirty. Customer service was not a priority at all, money was a much bigger priority. The owner is very inept and offensive.
It is a perfect place to relax with friends.
The time at Kiepersol was very peaceful and the facilities, especially the Jacuzzi was a winner. We practically spent the whole weekend outside because of the nice braai and entertainment area on the right side of the house. Everything was neat and in place on arrival and the directions given by Sarie was 100%. Will definitely visit this place again.
