Fantastically safe. We will stay there again.
Soap etc. taped to containers to prevent theft (create a president). Security upon arrival assured (We will search your vehicle when you leave). Waitress Eunice was fantastic! The tranquility was heavenly.
Check-in was not seamless. We prepaid everything, got acknowledgement from the hotel, but still had to produce proof of payment again, which was just inconvenient. Especially considering we already had acknowledgment from the hotel. We were also woken up by the sound of construction at 06:45 on Sunday morning. Not impressed.
I was just disappointed on our arrival at the rooms, the entrance of 49 - 51 was very dirty, the floor was not swept and mopped, there were dirty glasses on the floor at the entrance, I had to call reception to ask them to send a cleaner to come clean. At the restaurant, we ordered food for 6 people, the waitress only brought food for 5 people, after a while when we realised that the food is not coming, we informed them that the other person did not get the food that she ordered, we waited for so long before they brought her food, we were almost done eating. When they brought the food it was a wrong order, so she cancelled the food, she didn't eat. I propose that the waiters and waitresses should attend to one table at a time to avoid confusion of orders.
Always wanted to visit Kiviets Kroon. It was really a big disappointment. Too little place to sit with meals. Lounge but "around the pool" and eat on your lap in the sun, if blame on load shedding and too few staff. Waitress messed up our order, afterwards just gave up, went to the room and ate snacks that we brought ourselves. Very disorganized and management just feels like a feather. Will not simply visit Kievits Kroon again.
Had a very nice treatment at the spa.
The food was very good and so was the service. Wayne, our waiter made sure all our needs were met at all times. There are currently restorations underway which have left certain facilities out of action - such as the spa. We believe that in 3 months the place will be back to its former glory when all the work is done. We will definitely go back again - especially in the spring.

We enjoyed spending the night. The premises need attention however. Lots of maintenance needs to be done.
We did not always get good service from the waiters. There seemed to be too few waiters for the job.
