The Kifaru Game Reserve forms part of over 7,000-acres teeming with over 23 species of indigenous game animals including leopard, buffalo and giraffe. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 5 spacious en-suite rooms with private decks, an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, a boldly proportioned lounge with cathedral ceilings, and dining areas either inside or alfresco, all focused around Africa’s great outdoor living experience. The villa is eco-friendly and totally off-the-grid and power is supplied by solar, and hot water is supplied by gas geysers.
The first bedroom, the Livingston Suite, contains a queen-size bed, and en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and twin washbasins, an outdoor shower, a ceiling fan, a safe, gas fire hearth, and a private deck with sliding doors and bug-proof slider blinds. The second bedroom, the Stanley Suite, contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The third bedroom, the Burton Suite, contains a queen-size bed, a ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and sliding doors with bug-proof slider blinds opening to a private covered deck. The fourth bedroom, the Speke Suite, contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, a ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and sliding doors with bug-proof slider blinds opening to a private covered verandah. The fifth bedroom, the Baines Suite, contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, a ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and a private outside entrance that opens to a private covered verandah leading to the garden courtyard.
The granite-topped kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, gas stove and oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, a prep bowl, and a scullery. The large lounge has overhead fans. The indoor dining room contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. Sliding doors open to wraparound hardwood decks with braai facilities, entertainment areas, and a plunge pool. The wraparound hardwood decks boast magnificent 360-degree views of the mountains, valleys and savannah bushveld below. The villa also has a traditional boma with a firepit and a braai facility. Covered parking is provided for 2 vehicles.

2 guests' feedbackKifaru suited our requirements completely. Good accommodation and facilities gave us everything we wanted. Johanna and Jeri assisted with making our stay very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Our hostess was very responsive to communication and arranged everything as requested.
Our stay was a family one during a very short visit with overseas family. The accommodation at Kifaru Private Villa was excellent and the circular walk was a good way to see game and the bush.
