23 guests' feedbackOur opinion is for the bathroom to be brightened up. Maybe paint it white or use light tiles. Other than that, it is a perfect breakaway destination.
We had an amazing stay in this very neat and clean, beautifully decorated quaint cottage with absolutely everything we needed and more, even braai wood, mosquito repellent, and backup for load shedding. We loved the sea views and waking up to the sound of the waves. The hosts are the best! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Trish and Ken are amazing hosts! They thought of absolutely everything, from milk in the fridge to a plaster. And best of all, it didn't even cost an arm and a leg.
Not only did Trish make us feel at home, she also went the extra mile with her hospitality, answering any questions and helping with the laundry. P.S. Thank you for the other treats you left for us and of course the wonderful apartment, a home away from home.
Yes, the accommodation was clean and tidy. Our booking changed at the last minute and we were accommodated without a problem. All in all a good experience.

Kingfisher Cottage is centrally located in a very quiet and safe area. It is within walking distance of the shops as well as the Umkomaas golf club. Frequent visitors to the garden were the brown-headed kingfisher, tippets, pigeons, sparrows, sugarbills and blue-crested loons, to name but a few. It was very nice to wake up with the roar of the waves in our ears, as well as enjoying a beautiful view of the sea. We had a great time and recommend the facility anytime to anyone who wants to unwind and rest properly in a quiet, safe and private environment.
It was great staying in Kingfisher Cottage, we enjoyed every moment! The people are very friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay there again and can definitely recommend it!
We stayed one night in the beautiful cottage. Trish was friendly and accommodating. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We would have loved to have stayed longer to watch the whales. There was a feeding station for birds of prey, which was pretty amazing watching the kites come down to feed. I will definitely return to spend a peaceful weekend away there.

Kingfisher Cottage was ideal for us to relax and enjoy a nice change of scenery from the city after many months of lockdown. We appreciated its private entrance, lockable garage and enclosed garden as well as the sounds and view of the sea. Our hostess, Trish, welcomed us warmly and was kind and considerate throughout. Her choice of unique decor, personal touches and attention to detail give it character and a lovely, homely feel. We highly recommend this great place to stay.

Kingfisher Cottage is extremely neat, decor is exactly as in photos, owner is very accommodating. It's peaceful, it's safe and I'd easily book a whole December holiday.
