House rules

There is parking available for 1 vehicle inside our property. Please park alongside the gated wall as far onto the grassed area as possible to give enough space for our personal vehicles to enter and exit the garages.

Please ask your host for the Wi-Fi password. If the signal is poor, we do have an extender to increase the signal. Just let us know and we'll set it up for you.

The fans with lights work with remote controls. The bedroom remote is located on the bedside table.

Parties are not permitted and loud noise or music must end by 21h00.

Smoking indoors is prohibited.

Pets are not allowed as there are 2 resident dogs on the property.

We are able to accommodate a baby or toddler with you in the king-sized bed option or a child under 12 with a mattress on the floor next to the bed. We also have a camp cot mattress if you would like to bring a camp cot for your stay.

Please keep children supervised at all times, especially little ones by the stairs and on the balcony. If you would like a baby gate for the front door, please let us know.

If you have used Suntan Lotion/Suncream, please do not lay on the couch or bed before showering.

Beach towels are located in the basket outside the bedroom door and bath towels are in the cupboard above the washing machine. There is also a beach bag provided for your use. Please ensure all towels and the beach bag are left in the flat before check-out to avoid any additional replacement fees.

When returning from the beach, please rinse the sand off your feet at the JoJo tanks behind the garage before entering the flat and showering.

The washing machine is there for you to wash your personal clothing and towels only. If you need your sheets changed, please contact us to arrange a cleaning service or for them to be replaced with a clean one.

If you spill coffee, tea, wine, sauce, curry, or anything at all that may stain our rugs, clothes, towels, or bedding, please inform us immediately so we can attend to the stain and replace the item.

Please be vigilant of monkeys.

Trash is collected on Tuesday and Friday mornings and recycling is on Thursday afternoons. If you are staying long enough to require trash removal, please leave your bag outside our garage by 07h30 or bring it up to the top of our road and leave on the verge (on Dolphin Crescent) before 08h30. Please do not leave your bags outside overnight as there are neighbourhood mongoose, monkeys and cats that can get into the bags and create a mess.

If an emergency does arise during your stay, please let the owners of the house know and contact the appropriate emergency services.

There are LED candles on the kitchen counter and atop the refrigerator in the glass canisters and a rechargeable lantern under the sink. Power outages can happen.
