The Mill also houses a well-lit art studio for use by individuals or groups. The Restaurant and Banquet Hall open onto a courtyard of flower-filled gardens that surround a tinkling fountain and offer delicious country cuisine, cream teas or lunches. A very special place in a beautiful setting. Quaint rooms and super friendly staff. A charming chapel to sit in and reflect. And, on the cold winter nights that I was, there was a fireplace in my room (one of the suites). I look forward to returning again and again, and soon for leisure as well.
The garden is beautiful and the room was very neat. The dinner menu variation was good beyond expectation. I also appreciated that they called me earlier in the day and asked if I wanted to make a reservation for dinner.
A sanctuary for the weary city dweller, Kings Grant has been lovingly looked after by its owners and is a real gem. Our rooms (yes plural we actually booked another couple of nights) had wonderful views of the gardens and fresh cut flowers inside. The gardens are full of flowers and huge trees and set in among them are the old red brick buildings. The staff are very pleasant and attentive and the dining and patio areas offer very nice settings to enjoy good food and wine. It is unlike any accommodation we have stayed in before.
I would've liked to stay longer and find out more information about this quaint place!
Very nice and will visit again. Rooms not thoroughly checked before our arrival. Bath was full of dust and leaves, but otherwise it was beautiful. All compliments to the chef, outstanding food (so must taste a breakfast).
