Kings Guest House has two rooms, one of which is a self-catering unit. The other room has 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed. Each of these rooms has its own bathroom, entrance, and opens onto the pool area.
Breakfast is served either in the dining room or outside on the patio. Full DSTV is available in the communal lounge; guests are welcome to watch DSTV in the lounge. We do provide a laundry service/facility on request; guests must provide their own towels for swimming.
We are minutes away from the Pavilion, Westwood Mall, Village Mall, and Westville Mall, and 15 minutes away from the city center. King Shaka International Airport is 40km north of Westville; we do provide a shuttle service to those in need thereof. Westville is central to Amanzimtoti on the South Coast, Umhlanga Rocks/Ballito on the North Coast, and Kloof/Hillcrest to the West. We are also in close proximity to Westway Office Park and Derby Downs Office Park.
We are ideally situated for all types of activities. For sports lovers, we are close to Moses Mabhida Stadium, Absa Rugby Stadium, Sahara Cricket Stadium, and Kings Park Swimming Pool. 17 guests' feedbackSpacious rooms and bathrooms. Room is cleaned daily. Breakfast was very good and the owners are willing to serve guests early if you prefer. Lots of secure parking. Had a very good experience.
Rooms where wheelchair friendly. They were big, neat and had air con. The staff where friendly and helpful.
We were happy with the order and services from the lodge.
The owners of the guesthouse are very friendly and assisted us a lot with certain needs. The guesthouse is amazing with beautiful pool. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely return to this guesthouse and would certainly recommend other guest to stay at Kings Guest House. I have to conclude that Kings Guest House provides excellent service in all aspects.
It felt like home being there. I would not hesitate to stay the next time we visit Durban.
My husband loved the place the moment we checked in. Very gracious people. A peaceful neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our stay. And we will be coming back very soon!!

We had a great stay, owners and staff very hospitable and friendly. Absolutely enjoyed the balcony, best for an early morning cuppa tea or coffee. Will definitely stay again if we return to Westville. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
