The sea can be seen while lying on the bed.
The Penthouse has two separate rooms each with queen bed and has panoramic sea views from Durban harbour right around to Umhlodti. It is en-suite with shower and Victorian bath. It has its own lounge area and dining room/boardroom table. It has a large balcony with sun beds and tables and chairs, ideal for catching a tan in private. There is also a fully equipped granite kitchen with dishwasher and ice making fridge. It has its own air-conditioning and DStv. There is ample room for a family of four. It can be booked as a self-catering unit or including breakfast.
The guest house has a dining room and lounge area with big screen TV. This area leads out onto a large patio with beautiful views of the ships on the Ocean and is ideal for breakfast in the morning or for drinks in the evening. This area overlooks the large swimming pool. There are braai facilities which can be used in several locations around the garden, There are full bar facilities on the premises available 24 hours.
We provide a laundry service and items washed and ironed will be back latest next day. There is plenty of room for safe parking.

10 guests' feedbackWe are extremely disapointed with the room. . The Managing Director had to assist with restoring power to the room. The roof was leaking and had mold ad a bad smell. This is actually a health risk. We paid a lot of money for this stay. The quality does not meet the money spend. We can provide photo's if needed.

We were 18 people from 5 years to 77 years old. We all really enjoyed the place. The manager is friendly and very helpful.
Very nice place, friendly reception and they do go the extra mile to assist. Nice sea views.
Rod is a very excellent host, keeping in touch with his guests all the way. Hands-on in making sure that the guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay.
It doesn't come better than this when looking for a place to relax.
The place is quiet with lots of space. It's a good place to chill and enjoy God creation.

Kingston Place is one of the best Guest Houses we have ever visited. The different breakfast selections allowed us to eat a different breakfast every day. The rooms were very very clean and the towels were changed every day. It was a little difficult to remember the directions to the house as the shortest route had quite a few turn offs and winding streets, especially late at night. Rod Tripping is also an excellent and very helpful host. My overseas visitors (cousins) and I would highly recommend his establishment to anyone.
