We were kindly received by George. He made sure we were home. When I needed help with 2 meetings on Saturday morning, George offered their home with free Wi-Fi. Everything in the house was neat and clean. At R250 per person, the stay was worth every penny.

There were redbucks to see and there were lots of birds in the trees. There were also baboons that we heard screaming and saw guinea fowl. We heard the donkeys' call in the late afternoon. The place where we stayed was well furnished. The cleanliness of the place can be upgraded a bit. But overall we had a very nice stay.

The place is stunning and location is great but it was not clean and has ants all over the house, owner has to atleast put something for the ants and provide cleaning material

I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment. It is conveniently placed as a stop over, the bungalows have everything you need, the surroundings are so lovely and it is very reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend!
I only stayed one night at Kingwoody Lodge and I was very satisfied. I was kindly received and the house was beautifully neat and clean and well equipped. I requested to check out later the next day and it was no problem for the owners. Thank you very much!
Very good overnight place on our way to the Lowveld. Unit was well-equipped, we could watch rugby and braai. Everything was neat and in a working condition.
Definitely value for money for an overnight stay/self catering. The unit was clean and tidy, everything in working order, nice hot water for showering and enough blankets for the cold. The reception was friendly and because I had to leave before 06:00 there was a person to help me so that I could leave without any difficulty. I will stay there again. I really enjoyed the silence and no one or nothing disturbed me.
If you are willing to clean after yourself, then there is no problem. There is no cleaning service on certain days. Management does not inform you. Make sure you know about the cleaning times.
