We had a wonderful stay with the most beautiful, most beautiful view. Wind is unpleasant on the stoep at the braai area as it is an open stoep. No complaints, everything was neat and clean. Friendly host Luke.

Unfortunately, we were there at a time when the wind was blowing terribly. It was so bad that we couldn't even walk on the beach. We basically spent the whole weekend in the house watching TV. We explored the area by driving around but could hardly get out of the vehicle because the wind was too strong. When we opened the sliding door to the balcony, a strong wind blew into the house and we had to close the door again immediately. It was very unpleasant. It is not the owner's fault because one cannot order the weather, but guests must be aware of it.
Kite View 1 definitely sees me again, I wish I could find fault, but there is nothing. Beautiful house with everything. Just want to say a big thank you to Luke as well.

The weekend at Kite View 1 was amazing. Great accommodation with space for three couples and a large entertainment area and inside fireplace. The balcony and braai area had unobstructed views overlooking the river. Fishing was excellent with a direct path to the river. Will definitely be back.
We were lucky to have only one windy day when you cannot open balcony doors but on the other calm days, it was fantastic and peaceful. Full DStv package and great Wi-Fi, although with such stunning views, we hardly needed it. We took our little yorkie dog along and although the height worried us, the balcony is well secured and safe. Would totally recommend staying here.
Well rested in a nice place. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a bonus as we experienced real Cape weather with wind and rain. The dust in the house helped for the freezing cold days, but the smell of smoke that hung in the house all the time was not pleasant. We would have preferred a heater because the smell of smoke caused sinus problems for us.
We enjoy our stay despite the weather. Unit is spacious and neatly furnished. The view is truly wonderful.

The accommodation and view was absolutely as the website described it. View was amazing and accommodation comfortable and well equipped with all necessities and more. Our expectations were totally exceeded! Thank you very much for the good service and communication we received.
Very nice stay, very neat with all accessories. Just one problem, although their dog is friendly, there is no garden or ground where the dog can be left out. Dog had to be kept at home all the time and could not be left out on its own. Exit directly into the street!
Unfortunately no indoor braai. Wind is always blowing. Dogs were allowed. Clean, neat and beautiful view.
A place that meets all needs - whether you want to practice one or more water sports and whether you just want to relax and break away. Quick WiFi, everything you need for a braai, comfortable furniture, more than enough space for 6 people, near the beach, incredible views through large sliding doors (if the wind blows) or on the big sidewalk (if the wind does not blow !).
The view from the veranda is beautiful and in our opinion the best location in the whole Witsand (with a view of the river and the sea). The cottage was comfortably furnished and neat and clean. I just mention there are two bathrooms and not three bathrooms as stated in the description (not a problem, but still misunderstood). We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back.
Very unpractical with three double beds. Would've preferred 2 single bed in one room. But still had a great weekend!
We had a lovely stay at Kite View 1 and enjoyed a fantastic view. Our son really enjoyed the sand dunes and beach. Loved the fishing and enjoyed every moment of our holiday.
