Most beautiful house with beautiful garden, swimming pool and hot tub. Walking distance from everything and very tidy. We just booked again.
We had a lovely stay. The house and grounds were very clean and had all the amenities you would need for a relaxing stay, even a desk in a quiet spot to get some work done. The host was very responsive, and I would definitely recommend Kleijne Karu to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in McGregor.
The cottage was so cute, clean and well put together. Nice big kitchen. WiFi worked great! Beds were fairly comfortable (upstairs a little less so). Garden is phenomenal - it was such a pleasure spending time in the pool, hot tub and on the stoep. Our dogs loved it too! An outside light by the braai would be a very useful addition (or don't forget to bring your own). Lots of mosquitoes - but that's a McGregor thing. AC was a nice extra. Property is very secure. Short walking distance to anything you might need. Owner is also very responsive and helpful. All in all, we were a full house and everyone really enjoyed their stay - would recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communicating with Lonette was a breeze. It was pretty chilly in the cottage but the fireplace and electric blankets really helped.
The beds were very comfy, with lots of lovely bedding and blankets. The hot tub was superb. Could not have asked for anything else.
Good and considerate reception and facilities.
The only thing which I would add on or suggest is an outside light for the braai area, I would install a light inside the braai, not everyone will bring a torch or a portable light with.
It is al lovely spacious little house with everything you need. Can definitely recommend it.

The cottage is very well equipped, but you will need to buy wood and firelighters. Aircon, fans, wood stove, electric blankets, every temperature catered for! Easy to check in and check out.

Would stay there again. Very pretty quiet garden.
We had a very cold weekend for our stay but the cottage is well-equipped to handle the cold with a big fire place and electric blankets. It's such a cute cottage and so lovely that we could take our little dog along.

Flying of drones is not allowed, because there are private properties in the residential area.
Pets are welcome with prior arrangements. The cottage is on a spacious plot, completely fenced.
McGregor is also an ideal town to take your dogs for a walk, and most of the restaurants and cafés are pet-friendly establishments.
A safety net is available for the swimming pool. The pond is not enclosed, but a gate separates the pond from the rest of the garden area.
Please note, that sections of the accommodation are accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
