Absolutely a Karoo-friendly house, stylishly furnished, definitely a recommendation!
A beautifully furnished home with interesting artwork, equipped with everything you need, including firewood for the very necessary fireplace. The one quirk is that the main bedroom's entrance is through the bathroom, so it does take some planning when someone is spending some time having a bath etc. The pleasure of being in such a delightful house outweighs this oddity. We stayed for three nights, and took a moonlit walk each evening over the suspension bridges to eat at some of the restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in this house.
Klein Geluk is incredibly beautiful - inside and out. We had a very nice stay. a wonderful hostess.

Such a fantastic garden for our dogs to snuffle in! Beautiful setting to enjoy the stunning night sky. . A lot of thought has gone into providing amenities and a few extra touches. Also, love how environmentally aware they are. Great place to stay in to enjoy the charms of Nieu Bethesda.
An incredibly nice house with everything and more than needed. Nicely furnished, cozy and welcoming. The indoor Dover stove is perfect for the cold winters and the outdoor barbecue area a feast for the summer. There is even a pond full of clean clear water with an outdoor shower to cool off in. The starry sky is breathtaking. The dogs could frolic in the large garden which is completely fenced. It's been a long time since a place has been so hospitable and helpful. We come again.

We were very impressed with the furniture and style of Klein Geluk. It is nostalgic and modern. Beautiful sunlight with cozy, warm interior areas. The email you receive after booking mentions breakfast, which is not correct. We did enjoy breakfast at The Bethesda (complimentary) which was delicious, but the emails need to be fixed.
We stayed two nights in Klein Geluk. What a beautiful house, fully equipped. The garden is a loop court and the farm pond delightfully refreshing! We will definitely come again!
Although the house is full of antiques, we felt incredibly at home and comfortable. The garden is stunning, what a lovely place.
Klein Geluk Cottage met all our expectations. The place was neat, spotless and neatly furnished. Lovely garden with areas to hang out and Carla made sure we were properly informed about what Nieu-Bethesda has to offer.
Everything was beautiful, with loadshedding, provision was made, would definitely recommend and worth the money.

House and garden make you feel safe and at home. Pretty luxurious for sure and a big bonus that pets are allowed. Adding a carport to Klein Geluk is recommended - especially for frosty conditions.
Carla was very helpful and also helped us with one extra bed for a teenage daughter without any problem. The house is clean and tidy and there is a lot of hospitality shown through small gestures like everything from coffee, tea to hot chocolate and even instant porridge for people who are just passing through for one night. I would only suggest that the second bedroom be moved a bit to make room for 2 single beds, the place is certainly big enough.
