There is a short dirt road to the unit, but you can drive it with a small car. The unit has the most beautiful view and is very well furnished with even firewood. Definitely good value for money!
We loved the views, kind owners and well equipped cottage. This time it was just a one night stop over but we'll be back for longer next time!
Very nice getaway, in a historically interesting region. Cottage was clean and tidy, and the owners went out of their way to make the visiting experience enjoyable.

We booked at short notice to stay at Kleinerivier Cottages and since I was staying there with a group of friends during the Garden Route Camino, it was a natural choice. A quiet, clean and modern cottage in the silence of the Langkloof Valley that exceeded all expectations.
What an absolute gem. We loved everything about our stay at Kleinerivier. The view over the valley was perfect and the peace and quiet just what we needed. Amanda and George went out of their way to assist us with fishing rods and the bass were given "tandpyn". Even using the "donkie" for hot water was great fun and added to the farm style of the cottage. I highly recommend staying at Kleinerivier Cottages, we will definitely be back.
I really enjoyed my visit. The cottage has all the necessary facilities. I wish I could have stayed longer. On the recommendation of the host, I followed a short walking route. It was truly something special, the apple orchards, the natural vegetation, fynbos and many wildflowers, birdlife, etc.
Beautifully furnished houses with a nice big porch for visiting. Very nice surroundings and very friendly service from the owners. The braai place on the stoep's fireplace doesn't draw well, but that's all the criticism I can make of this cute little place.

Quiet and private on the farm.
Loved the farm atmosphere, wished the braai was covered, if it was sheltered that way I would use it. The accommodation is practical and neatly furnished. I don't remember that the website indicated it was 40 km from the town. I did not expect this, would have booked elsewhere if I had known it was so far. But the service was great.
We loved the style of the cottage and the beautiful wood made it exceptional. We were accommodated at short notice and the extra effort was much appreciated.

Amanda brought an extra mattress for our children with delicious cookies and coffee. Children went to milk the cattle early in the morning. Wonderful farm stay. We are definitely going back.
It was definitely the best choice for an Easter weekend yet. George and Amanda are wonderful hosts who take so much pride in their farm. The cottage is beautiful, private and located in an incredible location. Equipped with only the best and of course the fresh farm milk and rusks were a winner. We explored the farm on foot the first morning and appreciated the natural beauty of this beautiful setting. It certainly wasn't the last time they saw us. Thanks for a perfect Easter weekend for 2 newlyweds.
It's a wonderful place and our dream house. People are incredibly hospitable and tell you exactly how the apple farm works when we ask. Most wonderful bass fishing spot where my wife caught a record fish and rubbed my nose in it properly????. Can't wait to go again. Tranquility and bushveld TV at night (fire in boma) is really heavenly with the karoo starry sky at night with silence and wind through the trees. A must destination.
Was very peaceful and really enjoyed it after a long day of driving around the Karoo, sorry it was cloudy that evening I wanted to take pictures of the stars. Very nice clean and everything was in their place.
Fresh air, farm-style experience was what we loved and owners George and Amanda were amazing hosts, always checking that all was well and sharing places of interest for us to visit. Wonderful, beautiful, thank you, it was worth every cent.

A nice getaway from the busy life. Sat on the stoep and enjoyed the winter sun. Clean, neat and affordable. A heater would be nice in winter especially at night, but thanks for the electric blankets we slept well! Cottage will be wonderfully cool in summer. We were in the county for a wedding and had a very nice stay. Amanda prepared milk, coffee, biscuits and cookies for us and the beds have warm blankets which are lovely. There is also braai wood and a nice stoepie from where you can see the snow on the mountains while you can listen to the sounds of the farm. Great for a weekend getaway!
We had a nice stay. The house is well equipped and our hosts helped us immediately with requests and were very friendly. Very private, perfect for a nice rest.

Cosy cottage on a working farm. Well-equipped and comfortable, warm fireplace inside with firewood provided. Perhaps it would be a good idea to include GPS coordinates on the booking confirmation.

A delightful stone cottage in the middle of a farm. Quiet surrounds and privacy. It was a delightful experience having a herdsman taking the flock of sheep past the cottage. The cottage was sufficiently equipped, clean and neat with a few nice touches, like fresh milk in the refrigerator and more than enough firewood. The owners were most accommodating and helpful. We did have slight problems in finding the place and a few signposts from the main road might help. Make sure that you stock up on groceries etc before Noll's Halte. It is a tiny place with only basic provisions.
The cottage is fantastically equipped and has everything you need — even plastic bags for leftovers. It's little thoughtful things like that that deserve praise and thanksgiving. Moreover, we could only light the fire — the sticks were already packed when we arrived! The reception was particularly friendly and Amanda was always just an email or phone call away. The location is ideal for a peaceful break and the fact that the TV was not in the cottage during our stay did not bother us at all. The view over the Langkloof is lovely. The farm is close to the main road for easy access, but far enough away that the noise of cars could not be heard. We can highly recommend Kleinerivier Cottage. It really is the perfect place to spend the night on the R62 or even to stay longer.
Kleinerivier Cottage offers more than one expects or asks for; nice place silence and tranquility, beautiful bird sounds and even sheep bleating in the distance. The owners are hospitable and helpful and also spoil you with a farm trip to the dam and lookout point with a fantastic view. Meat barbecue under the starry sky was wonderful and you can also make a fire in the hearth inside the cottage during the winter. If we keep life, we will definitely visit again.
