Although the place is very well located and clean, it is much more "minimal" than other self-catering units we have stayed at. Usually there is a "personal touch", but not here. Absolutely nothing is provided, it is now literally self-catering - where there is usually at least a little sugar or coffee, especially if you arrive late.

I had trouble getting in touch with the owner to change the reservation. He didn't respond to my emails and website either. The breakware is of poor quality. The coffee mugs are awfully thick and too big. For the rate per day I would prefer higher quality crockery.

Lesley went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The use of the garage for our bikes was so appreciated! Kleinmond itself is so friendly and homely. I don't believe I have ever seen so many dog lovers in one town. Only one thing could have improved the stay and that would be a fan/aircon in the bedroom. I slept in the lounge on the couch because of the ceiling fan there. Kleinmond gets hot!

Everything was pleasant, cleanliness, location, reception, wonderfully relaxed. Lesley very helpful and punctual. Good burglar alarm highly recommended on ground floor, couldn't sleep with open windows and it was cramped. To avoid possible unpleasant incidents with bad consequences, good burglar bars on the ground floor are strongly recommended. This will be an investment for future bookings in RSA.
If you want to break away from a busy life, Kleinmond is the right choice. Kleinmond Panorama's location is good. Everything is walking distance. Kleinmond is a beautiful area I definitely recommend it.

We stayed for 6 days and were able to do a different hike each day, including the Fernkloof in Hermanus which is only 35 km away. October is a great time to see the whales and all the beautiful flora in this area. Our stay was most enjoyable.
