We were welcomed very kindly and immediately felt at home. We only stayed overnight, but the unit had everything we needed and we had a very nice stay.
Photos are accurate and we had a great stay.
Curtains are so thin that if you and your neighbors lights are on, you can look at each other. There is no bottled water available, while the village water is not potable. The security gate has no lock, and in the heat the main door cannot be left open for ventilation. The rooms are against the main road and the traffic is disturbing.
It's a beautiful place, very spacious and well located. Just outside Potchefstroom in a peaceful area where you can still enjoy nature and have a nice visit with friends or family.
We had a very nice stay. We did not stay in the unit we initially booked. The owners offered us the option to spend the night in a new unit located next to the river. There is a barbecue area by the river and although the Parys road is close, you hardly hear the traffic. Unity is completely off Eskom, so plan to shower in the evening, unless you don't plan a refreshing shower, because in the morning the solar geyser hasn't started working yet. However, this is a small sacrifice to make for the wonderful stay and tranquility.
The host was very friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean and there was even a generator to make up for loadshedding. Enough parking and very safe.

I had the best time of my life.
When booking we chose room 4,7 but on arrival we were given one different from that chosen and accepted room 2,6. They need to work on room 2 as the floor is plastered only and it's cold now. Otherwise, they gave us a heater. Friendly staff from manager Graig to Wallace, the gatekeeper.

I would recommend the Guest Farm because of price and redeeming features such as a good price and its setting, and if the things thar bothered us are improved. The book-in time was 2pm, but when we got there at 2pm the unit was not ready. Although the people were friendly- especially the cleaner, who we had the most contact with, it was a bit uncomfortable having to wait to settle in. We were unsure of whether coffee/tea etc wouls be provided, as theses were only added later, while we were out. It was very hot, and the fans in the house were inadequate. The ceiling fan in the dining room wobbled alarmingly. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable. However, the beds were very comfortable with clean linen. Althiugh wi-fi was available it would have been nice to have the code available somewhere in the unit.

The shower I stayed in had the entire hot water faucet turned off and it almost caught fire. The air conditioning did not work. I had to kill about 5 spiders. The whole room had ants everywhere, and the sound of the bathroom was not pleasant at all. Very nice place, but it needs some attention for sure. There was also no soap or wifi offered.

Place is well located just outside Potchefstroom, but only a few minutes drive from the Mooirivier Mall. Owner called me before we checked in to make arrangements for load shedding to make sure we had power in the morning. Units are nice and spacious, comfortable and tidy.

It would have been nice to maybe have soap by the sink in the bathroom, and basic cooking accessories in the kitchen e.g. salt and pepper, oil or Spray & Cook, milk for the coffee. We spent the night at Kleinplaas, everything was very tidy. the rooms are all spacious. Will definitely stay there again. It's incredibly hot, could do with fans in every room. We were kindly received and had a wonderful stay.

It was not what we wanted and had to send 2 people to another guest house which cost us extra. Will use another booking agent next time who gives more accurate information. Apparently this was not the first time this had happened.
The room was very neat and it's very safe. We stayed in room 5 and one thing that is not at all practical is the fact that the room and bathroom light work with the same switch. So if you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to turn on the room light and disturb everyone. I am also used to at least having a bar of soap in the bathroom.
It is tidy and has all the facilities needed. Nice braai area.

The location is perfect. Close to Potchefstroom and restaurants with takeaway meals or you can just barbecue yourself and relax. Very friendly and hospitable reception. Neat an friendly people, cleaning of units everyday a bonus.
They seem to neglect minor but important things. No toilet rug. The lock for the bathroom was faulty so one couldn't close the bathroom door completely. Otherwise I love the place. Very welcoming. I will go back. Good and affordable. Friendly hosts. A few things need attention though to just move it another notch up.
Nice stay, just a pity the house doesn't have WiFi.
First of all, the room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and secondly, there was not even anyone to greet us at reception. The maid came to unlock the room for us after a struggle to get someone to open it for us. So I would not recommend Kleinplaas Gasteplaas to people.
The accommodation was neat and we received very good service.
The front rooms (unit 7) are next to the Parys Road. The traffic is disturbing at night and one struggles to sleep. It shouldn't be a problem with the rooms at the back of the building.

Not value for money. No toilet paper supplied. Coffee/tea not enough for 2 days. Furniture old. No running cold water in kitchen. Stoep furniture old, dirty and cushions very faded. Stoep also dirty with cobwebs all over. Expected far better at R600 per night.
I was surprised how spacious the unit is, we had a great time, watched rugby and barbecued, I will definitely book there again.

I stayed over for one night with my husband and mother 25 May 2016. The unit was large, clean and comfortable and the service great. My main problem was that there was a strong and very unpleasant smell of a piggery. The shower head was so low that my husband bumped his head on it. I did not sleep well at all due to the noise from the pool pump. Our room was next to the swimming pool and the pump was on the whole night.
