All our rooms have tea- and coffee-making facilities, heaters, fans, satellite TV, modern bathrooms, luxury bedding and complimentary toiletries. There is also a cosy communal lounge with satellite TV. The newly built bungalow room currently does not have TV facilities.

The large plot with well-established garden and nature areas is ideal for peace of mind and a break from the city's noise. Guest rooms are located in such a way that one still feels separate from the other guests. The breakfast served is of chef quality and is already worth a visit. The caretaker/chef is extremely helpful.

The customer service was amazing. No request was too big for them. They catered brilliantly to our unusual day in a way we didn't expect and that we haven't experienced with other B&B's before. Well done to the staff for being so proactive and lovely people. Will be back for sure.

Place very neat ─ breakfast was delicious. Would like to have a bath and a bit bigger area for the kitchen.
It's a beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's winter now, so the gardens are frosted and dull. In the summer it will be a paradise.
The outside of the room was dirty, the stairs to the room as well as the place where the table is outside. There were cobwebs everywhere in the room that had been there for some time. We booked the room for 4 people, but there were only 3 glasses and cups, as well as only 3 chairs outside. The mattresses on the beds are worn through and very creaky. There was an unpleasant smell in the room and also outside. It was arranged with us that we should eat breakfast at 8 o'clock as there was a large group expected for 9 o'clock. However, we were informed by the kitchen that breakfast is only at 9 o'clock. So we didn't have any breakfast. The ponds outside are covered with a green plant. The office could not find the room key and we had to sleep with an unlocked door. The estate presents itself as a 4 star establishment but our experience was definitely not 4 star.
We had a really nice stay. Breakfast was already available at 06h00 to fit in with our plans. Thank you very much for accommodating us.

Was disappointed that the extras included in the rate wasn't in the room. Wanted to surprise my wife with the champagne, flowers, chocolates and strawberries the moment she entered. According to them it wasn't included. After making a phone call it was rectified. We went there to relax and that's exactly what we did. Breakfast was excellent and everything was pleasant.
They met all our requirements.

False advertisement. Not at all what was advertised on the website. Place is unkempt. Not nearly meeting expectations. Definitely not 4 star standard. Extremely disappointed. Will never stay there again.

On the advertisement, Kliprivier Country Estate was stated as self-catering which is not the case. As an overnight accommodation and functions, the facilities are sufficient to handle it. Staff are friendly and considerate. For an overnight accommodation I would definitely recommend them.

Klip River Country Estate was a beautiful place to stay at. Rooms are neat and service friendly.
The guesthouse is very well equipped and makes the stay special. Breakfast was also exceptionally delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Was incredibly impressed with the reception, from the receptionists to the beautiful red rose on the personalized name plate in the guest room. Rooms very tastefully furnished, neat and very clean. Love the old furniture, very romantic and decor very good. The breakfast the next morning in the dining room which is just as neat, clean and beautifully furnished was very tasty, enjoyed it.

A quiet stay to catch up on a long journey is not a holiday destination but if you stop to visit family in between you have good things to do, food and hospitality were good but you also have to rely on yourself a lot.

We arrived late at Klirivier and drove again early in the morning. We were kindly received and helped with a breakfast package because we would be leaving before breakfast. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to take a good look at Kliprivier.
