Die Plaashuis sleeps 12 guests in 4 bedrooms. Room 1, 2 and 4 each has a double bed and a single bed. Room 3 has 3 single beds. Die Plaashuis also has 3 bathrooms. We had a great time. Danie and Maricke give clear directions and the self check-in was very comfortable. The unit has everything you might need for self-catering and Maricke was always available for enquiries, e.g. about load shedding times. My husband also enjoyed fishing at the river. Oh, and another 5 stars for the cute dogs on site, friendly and extremely well mannered. Note that the mattress on the bed is very firm, it didn't really bother us, but if we were to stay longer I might start to miss my own bed.
Was lovely and peaceful, problem with noise the hostess solved immediately.
Lovely, big old farmhouse with beautiful surroundings but the house has a number of smaller maintenance issues that need attention (door and window latches not working / all 4 showers have terrible water pressure and the shower heads need to be replaced as the water comes out in a solid stream / the bed in the 4th bedroom is very uncomfortable / the living area also desperately needs some comfortable seating and there is no outside bin). We really enjoyed the company of the 4 farm dogs who quickly made themselves at home with us.
Whether you want to fish, take long walks with the dogs or just sit on the porch. They offer it all. It is a working farm so you are walking distance to the pig pens and horse camps.

The unit was clean and neat and looked exactly as per the photo. We had a wonderful holiday and even the farm dogs made us feel very welcome. Would definately return for another holiday.

We were a large group, celebrating my moms 60th birthday. How memorable! Thank you Maricke and Klipdrift Accommodation, we loved every moment, cannot fault a thing. We will definitely be back.
Our accommodation was great. The owners went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I went bass fishing and caught some nice fish just a stone's throw from our cottage.
The host was extremely helpful and I was pleasantly surprised with a welcome gift. The cottage is beautifully equipped. Even though I had chosen a smaller cottage I was upgraded to a larger one at no extra cost. My dogs loved swimming in the river and the walks. The hostess has such a calm aura that it is even felt throughout the farm. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We had a relaxing 2-night stay at Klipdrift with our newborn baby girl and our doggie. Maricke's communication was fantastic and it was a nice gesture giving us some pork sausage for our braai that was made on the farm. We had a great time.

Perfect location - quiet, peaceful farm not too far off the beaten track, cottages right on the Kleinrivier. Our boys enjoyed exploring the farm on their bikes and our dog loved swimming in the river and playing with Cooper - the resident Ridgeback. Maricke was a perfect host! Thank you.

There is so much more to see and do at the farm than indicated, guest should chat to the owners on arrival for ideas. Wedding venue for exploration, nature walks, fishing, bird watching, animal interaction, off-road motorbike tracks into mountainous area and ravines, mountain-bike tracks, tourist activities on the way to Stanford (only 20min drive away), wild cat sanctuary, wine and cheese farms.
