The self-contained 2-bedroom Klip-cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. The tastefully decorated bedrooms can be set up as a king-size bed or twin single beds, and have walk-in closets, wall-heaters and a safe. 2 camping beds can be provided for younger children. The cottage contains a large well-equipped kitchen with a coffee percolator, oven, washing machine and dryer. The lounge boasts leather sofas and a fireplace. Kliphuisjes is super clean, cozy and comprehensively equipped (even washing machine, hair dryers, fans, full kitchen and equipment). Quality linen, fluffy robes. No tired, worn furnishings and everything works. Spacious indoor and outdoor areas with a lovely garden. This is where you want to get snowed in! Fireplace, heaters, electric blankets. Pleasant and private braai area on the stoep.

Attention has been paid to small things that do matter. A hairdryer, mirror, with good lighting, coffee and biscuits for if you only sleep over on your way somewhere, it made a comfortable overnight stay for us. The fireplace was a bonus!

Kliphuisjes remains one of our favorite places to stay in Dullstroom. Walking distance from the main street and areas such as the Dullstroom Dam. It is so comfortable that they allow dogs. We can highly recommend them.

Definitely! Kliphuisjes is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. We lacked nothing. Well located - if it wasn't rainy and the kids a little bigger, we walked everywhere. Beautiful sugar beets in the garden. I'm a forest person and even though we were here in town, the wind through the tall eucalyptus trees made it feel like a farm. The water pressure is not amazing, but I understand it. Communication and information from Kliphuisjes is excellent - thank you for that.

The fireplace is very nice, there are nice warm robes available, heaters, electric blankets and nice thick blankets to snuggle up with. We had a great rest and after a day of walking around the town, it was a wonderful place to sit and relax in front of the fire. The environment was very peaceful.

Customer service from Kliphuisjes was not up to standard. Reported a problem but got no feedback from the manager.
The place smelt like a shack. It needs to be aired and air freshener or something. The dark carpet around the bed is dirty. So much so that it stained our white socks. The bedding is tired. The toilet seat needs to be replaced (the enamel paint on the seat is chipped and not hygienic). At least 20 L of water (add an absolute minimum) gets wasted before the hot water finally reaches the shower head. There is no door in front of the toilet (no privacy). It is a petite, but I think this place is overrated and rides on a few good reviews.
Big bed with nice fluffy blankets. Weekend was not very cold, but we made fire every night in comfortable fireplace. Well equipped kitchenette. Very private. Wasn't aware of other guests other than seeing their vehicles.
We had such a wonderful stay at Kliphuisjes. It was the perfect winter stay, it had everything we needed and they even went the extra mile with extras such as providing OBS for us. Very comfortable, clean and friendly service. It was only a stopover for us on our way to the Kruger Park but next time we will definitely book to stay longer.
Wonderful place to stay, with everything one needs for a family of four! The bedding is warm, the place is neat and even sherry was provided, which offered a nice touch. Only found the firewood provided for the indoor fireplace wouldn't set alight with the limited amount of blitz supplied. Would recommend to anyone!
The fireplace is amazing. We loved the fact that the unit was serviced and clean towels were provided. we would have loved a bath but did enjoy the big shower nonetheless.

The place is very centrally located. Everything is walking distance. The facilities are very well rounded and create a wonderful atmosphere.
The accommodation is excellent, more beautiful than the photos, cleanliness is excellent and the fact that cleaners came in every day to tidy up our place was any Mamma's highlight. The weather was a bit unusually cold after our camp, but the fireplace kept us cozy and warm. We will and will definitely return again for another cozy weekend.

The staff made a big noise coming in and out of the steel door next to our room in the morning and actually woke us up. Maybe the host can look into that? Kliphuisjes is within walking distance of everything you need and the owners are very helpful. If you are staying longer than a night I would recommend the Cottage. It is slightly more expensive than the suites but has a lot more space. The suites are simply one large room with bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living room all in one. Maybe a bit cramped if you love to cook. But at least there are nice braaiers and a fireplace so all things considered value for money.

Everything was clean and tidy. The beautiful Kingsize bed's mattress was old and hard and very disappointing. Didn't have a good night's rest at all. The nearby restaurant/hangout area was noisy and the cleaning services' workroom/storage was right behind our unit which was quite disturbing. No view, and for the price paid we expected a reasonable view. The couch in the living room's upholstery was old and broken. The ceiling was different shades of white - poorly painted!

The room was very small but well-designed and perfect for what we required. It is well stocked with all the basics in both the kitchen and bathroom. One thing I would like to point out, not as a criticism, but as a means for you to improve: when we arrived the prepaid electricity had run out and we had to wait for someone to come and load more. It didn't inconvenience us but it's a simple enough matter to control. Otherwise, wonderful and warm and a pleasure to stay at.

We were on our way back from a holiday in Mozambique. Was very tired and was just looking for a nice place to spend the night. Andrew was very helpful and moved us to another room that was quieter when we asked. The room was excellently equipped: aircon, lovely comfortable bed, enough space for your luggage, clean, modern bathroom, very cute mini-kitchen. Service was excellent. Mind you, the place is in town. I initially thought it was located slightly out of town because the main photo looked like that.

TV not working properly. The workers at the adjacent property were talking all night and making noise and started construction early in the morning. It was disrupting.

The unit is very strangely laid out, cluttered, dark and dirty. The dishes were greasy and dirty in the cupboards. The small patio looks onto the car park which is not great. You are not told how to disarm the unit when you collect the keys. All 3 guests that arrived within an hour of each other all set the alarms off so no one was told. Really poor service. Other guests were very noisy. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything as units are on top of each other. Does not feel like any love or care goes into them. They just churn people through. Way too expensive for what it offers. Will not be back.

The Kliphuisjes, specifically the Klip-Cottage, are picture-perfect and were just one big treat and treat from start to finish! Andrew kindly met us with the keys and a nice chocolate. All the finer details made the stay top of the line with complimentary Ouma biscuits, sherry, coffee and deliciously cuddly dressing gowns to enjoy in front of the fireplace.

The Kliphuisies are walking distance from two churches and the main street. The unit we stayed in was very clean and tidy and equipped with everything needed. The gas grill on the porch and enough wood for a cold evening was a bonus. The complimentary sherry immediately made us feel at home. Andrew and his dog Poppie are very friendly. He is helpful and an absolute source of information about their town. We will definitely be able to recommend the place to everyone!
Due to the COVID pandemic, the cleaners could not come in while the guests were in the cottages. Can we make a suggestion? A broom would be an asset to sweep up the ashes. Compliments to the owner, he thought of everything that could possibly be needed. Great!

The property is conveniently located in a quiet road on the outskirts of town, still in walking distance of the Main Road and restaurants. We stayed one night, on our way to the Kruger Park and the room/cottage offered everything we needed.

I must admit, I was won over immediately by the Woolworths Easter eggs awaiting us - I think my smile was priceless! The unit is very well-equipped - if it's not there, you don't need it, And they provide you with a bathrobe! Awesome! I wish I could include a pic of how nicely the robes were folded on the bed. There's also a hairdryer - ladies, you know how convenient that is, and the plugs, hooks and mirrors are well placed. And to top it all, they have a heater in the bathroom! We slept very well - for once my hubby didn't complain about backache after sleeping in a different bed. Big bonus for me! The security is also very good - we let our alarm go off by accident, and there was a knock on our door from the security company 2 minutes later! Impressive! And when they say they are pet friendly, they really are! Thank you again, Kliphuisjes will definitely see us again.

Kliphuisjes is a neat, well-kept, rural place, very friendly and helpful owners. I just wouldn't describe them as an animal-friendly place. If the dogs cannot move outside in the general parking area, there is no lawn area to close them when entering the village, only a 10 m x 1 m paved alley.

The Kliphuisjes are advertised as pet friendly. However, this is not true. Little puppies can escape through the fence (too large openings) and that means dogs cannot be left alone, which limits your activities in town. In addition, the pets cannot be securely enclosed as there is a gate that cannot lock or even close.
We had a friendly reception at this stunning place. We enjoyed every moment inside and outside of the Kliphuisjes. The neatness is great and we didn't need anything.

No unattended pets in the units when guests are off property. Klip-Cottage has a useful fenced-in backyard area to leave most in-house dog breeds unattended for a short while at own risk.

Each of the 3 self-catering Klip-suites is unique in decor and features a private open-plan bathroom, that is not visible from the bedroom, top quality linens, electric blankets, robes and toiletries, and a TV with DStv. Each suite has a kitchenette equipped with the basics, and complimentary tea, coffee, marshmallows and rusks are provided. Each suite features a patio with a braai and seating, and an indoor fireplace stocked with complimentary wood and firelighters.
The self-contained 2-bedroom Klip-cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. The tastefully decorated bedrooms can be set up as a king-size bed or twin single beds, and have walk-in closets, wall-heaters and a safe. 2 camping beds can be provided for younger children. The cottage contains a large well-equipped kitchen with a coffee percolator, oven, washing machine and dryer. The lounge boasts leather sofas and a fireplace. The cottage has a dining area and a full-length patio with a built-in undercover braai.
Although Kliphuisjes has no reception area, the owners reside close by and will welcome guests on arrival with keys. Please note this establishment is self-catering and no breakfast provided.
