House is 100 years old. Lovely atmosphere, solid, but no modern utilities. I would suggest - especially for overseas visitors - a generator or solar panels to keep the lights on during load shedding. I am aware that this a costly item, but good advertisement.

The environment is beautiful. The house is wonderfully quiet, tastefully and very comfortably furnished, with everything you need at hand. Linda, the hostess, is helpful and goes out of her way to accommodate guests' needs. We can recommend it boldly.

Linda and Andre were friendly and kind hosts. The house is equipped with everything one could need. The house is cleaned every day except for Sundays and holidays which meant that I could rest a bit. The doll house and the play area kept the children busy for hours. It is very safe and peaceful. There is fantastic cycling a stone's throw away at MTO Trails.
Klipkopje is situated in a very safe eco estate. There are beautiful views that one can enjoy. The garden is fantastic that makes for an interesting walk. The estate is open and can also be enjoyed with a stroll. The house has everything you need and is really comfortable for six people. Great for couples who want to get out.

We had a wonderful stay during our visit to Klipkopje. André and Linda received us warmly and very hospitably - we immediately felt at home. Everything you need is there and the house was spacious enough for the five of us. The veranda with its lovely view was a winner and there is space for children to play outside. The WiFi was a great bonus for the teenagers. If we ever go in that direction again we will definitely stay at Klipkopje again and we will recommend it to everyone we know. Thank you very much again!

We recently had to spend the night near Witrivier for a book festival in Witrivier and came across Klipkopje. From the moment we made contact with André and Linda to arrange access, until we drove away it was an absolute pleasure to spend the night there. We regret that our program did not allow us to stay here longer and enjoy the days, because this is definitely the place where you want to 'unwind'! We wholeheartedly recommend Klipkopje to anyone who wants/needs to spend a few days in the White River/Nelspruit (Mbombela) area. It can also work as a good first few nights' stop before you venture into Kruger!
Andre and his spouses immediately made us feel welcome. The place was neat and clean. The sofas, chairs and beds were very comfortable. We also felt safe the whole time. Definitely a place I will visit again.

The family really enjoyed the stay. The location was perfect for the family, could drive out every day but return to peace and quiet in the evening, completely cut off from society. The dogs on the premises were not a problem at all, on the contrary the children really enjoyed playing with them and didn't even miss a swimming pool. I will definitely stay there again when we visit White River.

We enjoyed it so much and definitely intend to book the Cottage again, this time for a longer time and for vacation. My 3 year old enjoyed it so much. The gardens and view are beautiful with good security. It is clean and tidy with all the amenities and more. The reception was fantastic and so professional, we immediately felt at home. Nicely situated not too far from town, good value for money, and breathtaking views. Accommodating management. Be aware there is a dog on-site, also don't leave any open food, crisps etc. on counters as ants are a problem (not the owners fault, it's an area issue).
Security and safety are highly valued and Klipkopje Guest Cottage meets all standards. Nature is something to appreciate and hospitality is excellent. nRoof fans and insect-repellent mesh in front of the windows would be recommended.
