28 guests' feedbackHad a very nice family gathering. Have a good time and facilities are good. Nice to be able to take game drives yourself and see wildlife all the time from the camp at the dam. A few people felt safe enough to sleep on the trampoline one night! Two toilets took half an hour to fill after flushing, so this could be a problem with larger groups. Remember to bring your own bath and swimming towels.
We had a great time, the place was amazing.
Really enjoyed it! Hanging area that is closed made it nice for the winter. Will definitely go back in the summer and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice weekend with a big group!
Place exceeded expectations. Very well stocked with cutlery, crockery, etc. Rooms spacious, living area well furnished. Clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed Klippieskraal in the heart of the Bosveld. We were kindly received by the host. Layout very well specifically for large group of people. Tidy! Everyone can comfortably hang out inside and outside. Breakage deposit received back within a day. Thank you very much for your good communication! We recommend Klippieskraal and will definitely go back again!
Site layout is convenient. Poor feedback on inquiries. Must follow up breakage refund. They lock premises after check-out and do not go with you. New owner requests upon arrival to move through premises for damage, does not take notice of own damage and recovers damage not broken by us. No cell phone reception. Should mention it on website. Website old owner detail up, not updated. No oven for a lodge is a problem. Toaster did not work.
This was 'kids paradise' which means parents had a lovely weekend. We immediately booked our next weekend there. Children are accepted there for being children. Ideal for a large group of people as the rooms and the social area are separate.
Close to home, comfortable, peaceful, in the woods. Everything is there. We only need to take clothes and food. Their fridge and freezer are amazing. There is nothing as annoying as a place that you pay a lot for and the fridge does not get cold. Will visit Klippieskraal again!
It is so beautiful and very well furnished, ideal for a large group with children. Everyone can have fun together and is also wheelchair friendly. Will definitely go again.

Accommodation was very neat (Thanks for the box of chocolates, Joy). The kitchen is well equipped. Nothing was missing. The dam is in front of the accommodation. Animals often come to drink water. There are plenty of birds. It was wonderful to go home there. I can recommend it.
Very nice and peaceful stay in the bushveld.
Well equipped kitchen and lapa. Swimming pool a good escape from heat, neat outside area for camp fire. Joy, the hostess, was very friendly and helpful, as was Poppie who helps with the dishes.
We had no cell phone signal. It was great to break away. The children were unhappy at first but soon realized that these were fantasies.
Very friendly owner (Ferdie). Diana, received us kindly and she stopped by every morning. It is a beautiful place to stay, with everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped. Neat, clean accommodation with covered braai facilities. All the rooms are perfectly equipped for a short or long stay. You can literally just stay there all day, and appreciate the sounds around you, while you swim, barbecue and relax with your family or friends. Will definitely go again.

Bell/intercom/camera by the gate because there is no signal and it's a struggle. And give the guest a remote for the weekend for when they want to in and out.
Never in my life have I been so impressed with a place like that! I couldn't wait to show my guests the place. Upon arrival, Maki was there to receive us with a big smile. Let us walk through the place and point out everything there is. We lacked nothing in the kitchen. Fridge was a hit! All our guests were very happy and impressed with facilities. Cell phone pickups are few to none, but owner can't do anything about it. Just makes calling in at gate a little bit difficult.

Klippieskraal is probably one of the best accommodation places we have booked. It is well located and furnished and very neat and modern. The staff and Ferdi are very friendly and helpful. There is no good signal, so cell phones and internet have taken a break. It was great to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Accommodation is perfect, very modern with everything a hotel room provides. The kitchen and outdoor recreation area is very large and beautiful, catering for every possible need to prepare food. The workers are very helpful, friendly.
