Klipspruit is situated 550 m from the Vaal River, 1 km from the centre of town which offers various shops and restaurants, and 3 km from the Parys Golf Club. Parys offers a variety of activities ranging from berry picking, river rafting, hiking and 4x4 trails, and guests can also visit the Vredefort Dome which is 15 km away.

Beautiful place. Nice linen. Beautiful kitchen. Private even though we were all together.
Was the best weekend ever. We enjoyed it so much, we were nowhere else but at the cottage. The house is nicely equipped, the fireplace is lovely and the outside braai area is so nice. Thank you for all your hospitality. You will definitely see us again.

The one double bed is a bit worn out and needs to be replaced. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay!
We only stayed one night, but had a wonderful stay in the large and comfortable house. The house has everything a family could possibly need, namely a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, free WiFi and an 'inverter' for load shedding. Elmarie was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate all our special requests. We would be happy to recommend Klipspruit to visitors.
Klipspruit is located in a good area, close to the shops and restaurants. Very clean, friendly owner and very helpful. Klipspruit has a very nice meeting area, with a nice fireplace to make the cold evenings a little warmer.
We were quite disappointed as Dolce does have a double bed, but no fridge, air conditioning or TV. The WiFi was closed and we couldn't get any reception for the TV in Opium either. We have a diabetic who requires insulin cooling, so the single traveler slept in the double room and the couple in the 2 single beds. There are also only Cappuccinos that are sweetened and no alternative drinks put out.
Beautiful, historic accommodation. Neat, well looked after, with everything you need.
My only criticism is if you are one or two overnight guests it would be nice to already have coffee, tea, milk and sugar available in the lodge as well as maybe shower gel in the shower. Otherwise, absolutely perfect.
Lovely and very neat accommodation. We had a really nice stay. Would recommend Klipspruit 100%.
