Located on a hill with a 360 degree view over Calitzdorp, farming area and the beautiful panorama view towards the Swartberg Mountains.
Very hospitable owner, lovely surroundings and very safe, had such a nice stay.
We had a wonderful stay. It's a beautiful place to stay with a beautiful view over the fields, with a friendly hostess. It's a shame that self-catering facilities are not available. One does not want to eat in the beautiful room, or use the en suite bathroom as a washing place. Luckily we were there in the summer and could do everything on the front porch.
Beautifully decorated, close to everything in Calitzdorp. The owners go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Very nice view. Everything clean and tidy. We enjoyed the farm atmosphere and silence. Although we were provided with all the cutlery and it was washed for us, I might recommend a washing area outside for travelers who want to wash their cutlery.

My wife and I were able to enjoy a wonderful break in the Klein-Karoo. Our stay at Klokkies captured everything that tranquility can be. At the top of the hill we were surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and could enjoy the picturesque surroundings without obstruction. The dog also kindly comes every now and then to make sure we are still okay. The air conditioning was a bonus for the hot days. There was WiFi, but with how beautiful it is there, we were able to "connect" with each other and nature rather than with technology. Will definitely come here again.

We are of the opinion that Klokkies should state more clearly that it only provides a room - not self-catering facilities. There is a fridge and kettle. There were no cutlery and crockery apart from 2 coffee mugs. Upon request, plates and cutlery were made available to us. Still a beautiful place.

Neat and clean. Enjoy silence. Good service. According to website it is B&B, no information about it received from guest house. I understand by B&B that breakfast is included or arrangements are made if so preferred. Didn't really bother me, but it would have meant more to be fully informed of services available, especially since there are no facilities available to make your own breakfast.
Klokkies is a convenient stopover in Calitzdorp. We used both rooms at Klokkies. They were both well appointed, neat and clean. The bathrooms were also neat and functional. The owner is friendly and the location, on a bluff of the Gamka Valley is scenic. Would certainly stay there again.

My daughter and I really enjoyed staying here, the guest room is very comfortable and well furnished. We were kindly received by the hostess, two cute dogs and an ostrich (behind the fence)! The view is beautiful, would like to see it in the summer too. I recommend Klokkies for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

On our journey from Langebaan to Uitenhage we only slept over, without breakfast. Unfortunately I picked up problems with my trailer. However, Johan and his wife were very helpful with directions and phone calls to help solve my problem on a holiday. We had a nice overnight stay in a safe, comfortable and clean environment with a beautiful view. Will stay there again in the future.
