50 guests' feedbackWorst booking ever! There is a location directly behind the guesthouse. In a busy, hectic life, one pays a lot of money to rest. However, that was all we could do. From Friday night all the way through to Sunday morning, the location played deafening music non-stop. We decided to drive as early as possible on Sunday morning just to get away from the noise. We had a lot of trouble getting hold of the contact person for the guest house (mind you, the only contact person). Do not recommend this place to anyone! Very bad experience!
The showers, sheets, and rest of the place was not clean. The manager was also not organised and a bit unprofessional.
The gardens are very beautiful and cottages look nice on the outside. On the inside, the curtains are shabby, bedding needs replacing. The kitchen needs a good revamp! The environment is not good with deafening music playing all night till next day!
Not clean at all. Found other people's barbecue in the third drawer. The cutlery is not clean at all. No WiFi, no DStv, and no electric blankets. We asked for sleeping space for 5 people, but I had to sleep on the couch. There is no view as they said. We had to keep everything closed because the place is built in a neighborhood and the people are noisy until 3 in the morning.
I wouldn't mind buying this place and putting up another 10 units. The property is huge and spacious.

Can you just please add a mattress cover, the sheet constantly slips away. The blankets in the main bedroom need some upgrading.
Accommodation is clean and tidy, but could do with some updating. Thank you for a wonderful stay, right next to the beautiful Graskop Gorge.
Only problem was the leg of the double bed that was not there. It felt like the bed was leaning to one side.

With a name like Kloofsig I thought we would look out on the Graskop Gorge. It is located across the road, but the view was of everything but the gorge. The cottages have potential, but we had to wonder how clean the bedding is, 1 towel per guest, curtains that barely cover the windows. For the price I expected much more.

Cute unit that needs some attention to the finish. Service was good and accommodation served its purpose.
We had a very nice stay. We were received kindly and the place was neat and clean and was cleaned every day. Even though we didn't have an excellent view, it was very peaceful and we felt we were in nature. Will stay there again.
Very dark in evening at entrance of gate. Would suggest that they put light on wall.
The cottage was fully equipped and very clean. Werner was very friendly and explained everything nicely (TV). Two possible points of improvement at Cottage 4. The hot water faucet in the shower whistles terribly, the neighbors can hear when someone showers there, and the check-out procedure could be improved. I had to walk around and look for the attendant to return the key and remote.

The house was very well located for all our various day trips. Werner was also very helpful. At first we were worried about the proximity of the other houses, which spoiled one's view, but there really had been no problems with the neighbours.
The place is neat and Werner's service was great. It is located right next to the bur community that partied all night on Saturday night. We didn't sleep well at all.

As usual we enjoyed our stay. Third or fourth time there for the weekend. Unfortunately, there was a serious problem that came up unexpectedly. The shower's hot tap gave out late on Saturday night and could not be turned off at all. The water simply ran out badly. Unfortunately, Werner was elsewhere on Saturday and Sunday and therefore we could not come and see him in person. Everything meant that there was no hot water on Sunday and Monday morning and we had to turn off the stopcock again and again on Sunday and only open it again if we needed water, such as e.g. for washing up purposes (boiling water) and toilets. Definitely unpleasant, but not anyone's fault. Werner did contact on Sunday, but no plumber available on a Sunday.
Good value for money. Curtains in front of the kitchen windows can be looked after for more privacy. Beds/mattresses are very comfortable. Fireplace is a bonus.
My friends and I needed a lodge to stay at for a weekend while visiting Graskop. We struggled to find one as we were 5 and most places only catered for 4 or 6 people which was very inconvenient. Finally we found just a perfect place - Kloofsig Holiday Cottages. Up-to standard, cosy, secure, safe, very clean and peaceful place. It has everything one needs to enjoy one's holidays without distractions. Friendly staff and management. We would definitely stay at Kloofsig the next time we visit Graskop again! I sure recommend Kloofsig to others who would like to visit the beautiful town of Graskop!

The unit has two bathrooms which is a big bonus. The unit is a house, not a rondavel, which makes the rooms nice and big.
We enjoyed the stay very much - my husband and I and our 2 grown up sons. The 2 bedrooms are private with their own bathrooms. Everything was very clean and neat. The only thing that bothered us was the noisy fellow holiday goers and the music of the permanent residents next door.

The housing at the back bothered a bit, because there are no lace curtains, so we and the neighbours could see right into each other's homes. It is a pity there is no play area for the kids or swimming pool.
It was lovely. My only problem is the step in front of the fireplace - I lost half of my toenail because it looks like the floor and is not visible. One of the other ladies also kept bumping her toe against it. I enjoyed the stay and relaxed a lot.
Unity only has basic stuff in it. Although clean. View disappointing. After 40% discount it is still not cost effective. It's basically just a place to stay overnight with no other facilities.
Nice fireplace and could therefore, regardless of nice weather, still make a fire for the coziness of it with red wine! It's not in Graskop, but close enough to drive in for shopping and also nice pancakes at Harries. Reception and service were good. We will definitely book there again, age permitting, in the future. LekkeSlaap's great booking service is also worth mentioning.

Comfortable, spacious accommodation in quiet surroundings! Although there is a main road in front of the site and there is a residential area behind the site, this does not affect the tranquility of the accommodation! I can recommend this accommodation with confidence!
I just want to suggest that they get bigger braai bowls or braai drums for the units.

At first we where a little nervious, about the proximity of the townships, but where pleasantly suprised by the peace and quiet even during the night. The cottages where nice and clean, and equipt with all the nessesary. We would recomment Kloofsig to any one that asks, as we found it to be value for money.
If comfort, cleanliness and price are your criteria for a few days' rest, Kloofsig is just the place. The layout of the houses is cute with 2 bedrooms on either side of the living rooms. The neat informal settlement is about 20m from your window, but doesn't really bother you, except for all-night noisy visiting at Christmas time. The bedroom windows and socializing and barbecue area are away from the neighbors. We felt safe. I would recommend Werner to put in roof fans for the heat and mosquitoes.
My first impression was "Oh my gosh, where is the place located?" it's then right next to the RDP development and so that's your view. Lesson for the weekend: read the reviews. The braai area is on the other side of the house, on the stoep as in the picture of the house. Every night's barbecue under the stars was just what we city lads needed. The facilities are clean and are also cleaned daily. It was a pleasure for me to know that I am out in the morning and in the afternoons when we come back, the house is clean. The place is just outside Graskop, opposite Big Swing, so it's close enough to shop in Graskop.
It's clean and spacious. There is pure white linen and the towels are deliciously fresh! Thanks for that.
