Noise from neighbours can be an issue, as units are so close, otherwise all good. Wi-Fi is not so great, a bit slow.

It was very neat and clean. Other facilities in the room were very good. TV, coffee, emergency lights, detergents.
The unit is very cute, however the fridge was out of order and we had to exchange the fridge ourselves with another unit. The only pan (non-stick) in the unit is so badly damaged that it should not be there at all, very dangerous to use such a pan. Plug in kitchen doesn't work so we had to plug in kettle and toaster in room as there is only one working plug in kitchen for convection oven/microwave/electric pan.
WiFi didn't work, communication was slow.
Walking distance from the restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful stay. Service was fantastic. View is beautiful.

The name is very appropriate, the view of the mountains is breathtaking. It was very nice to wake up every morning with such a view. The service is fantastic and the unit is very clean and tidy. Will definitely stay here again. Nice close to the shops and places to eat. We enjoyed it very much.
Knock Out View is located about two blocks from the town center/shops. Was convenient to leave car at home and explore on foot. Accommodation was neat and clean. We slept in the overnight facilities - Hope - and therefore did not have a roof for our vehicle. There is also a veranda for the overnight cottages which is shared if you want to sit outside. It's peaceful there.
I can definitely recommend Knock Out View. The service was exceptional. Very friendly reception, clean facilities and fresh milk every day. Thank you very much for making our stay so pleasant.

The mailbox at the sliding gate sits in a dangerously low position. I hurt myself badly when I hit my head on the mailbox. I probably should have watched where I was moving, but it could be installed in a safer place to make sure it doesn't happen again to a tall guy.

Ons het 2 nagte in die Peace eenheid gebly. Clarissa het ons vriendelik verwelkom en die inboek was vinnig en pynloos selfs met die Covid regulasies in plek. Die eenheid het alles wat mens nodig het en is goed toegerus en gemaklik. Ongelukkig het die wi-fi in die eenheid nie gewerk nie, want die sein was baie swak. Hul het probeer om dit af en aan te skakel, maar dit het nie die probleem opgelos nie. Ons het toe maar ons eie data gebruik. Dit is binne loopafstand van die dorpie en al die restaurante, so baie goed geleë. Ons het die braaigeriewe altwee aande gebruik. Ongelukkig is daar net een stel trappe en moet mens die heeltyd voor die bure se eenheid op en af beweeg, want dit nogal ongemaklik gemaak het. Ek kan dalk voorstel dat hul eerder nog 'n stel trappe installeer en ‘n meer permanente afskorting tussen die twee eenhede opsit vir bietjie meer privaatheid. Dit is baie goeie waarde vir geld, perfek geleë en vriendelike diens.

Will just put out better biscuits for guests. It was tasteless. But otherwise the stay was fantastic.
Location big plus.
The bushes on the side of the mountain block the view. There was a problem with the fridge, the workers did not come to clean it, as promised. And we were promised fresh milk and biscuits for every morning, which never happened. It's a trifle, I know, but then don't promise it. The bedding was exceptional, we slept really well. The unit was also very comfortable for all of us.

Very nice stay, the location was fantastic. But we couldn't park in our house number's covered parking space. The owner said when we moved in she knew who it was and would ask them to move, that didn't happen and the owner didn't give us any feedback either. Other than the above, this is an excellent place to stay!

Studio unit was small but neat. Everything that is needed. There was only a washing machine or something next to the room which was a bit annoying. And the faucet in the kitchen sink was terribly loose. But otherwise no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay and were pleasantly surprised with how well equipped the room was.
The guest house itself was neat and well located. However, I have a problem with their communication. On their quotation they mention that they are a B&B and that the breakfast is served at the nearest restaurant and that it is included in the price. Further in the quote they say that breakfast is not included. I suggest they revise their quote form and website to make it very clear from the start that the breakfast is not included in the price and not as it currently stands.

Knock Out View is nice and central and yet out of the "bustle". The fireplace and gas heater make it cozy and the electric blankets and heater in the bathroom make it a winner! The top floor's view is breathtaking!
No problem with location. Would definitely recommend the place. Cleaners only clean the apartment after 14h00 which causes a little inconvenience. But it was only for 15 minutes.
Good value for money. Clarens is a beautiful town with plenty of art. The restaurants provide meals of very high quality. Knock Out View offers good value for money. We only stayed one night on our way to Cape Town. But, it was a good start to our holiday. The cars are locked inside at night which also gave further peace of mind. I would not hesitate to use Knock Out View again in the future.
Ideal for the short stay, air-con would have been appreciated as it was exceptionally hot, but pleasant.
The property is located within walking distance to Clarens's commercial area. It is properly maintained and adheres to hospitality process and protocols. And well equipped with basic amenities.

We stayed 3 nights. Have absolutely nothing to complain about. It was clean, tidy and safe. The accommodation is on the main street of Clarens with everything within walking distance.

Shower could be more effective.
There was nothing wrong with the accommodation itself. I was upset that we were reprimanded for noise levels at 21:00 when it was only us saying goodbye to friends - no music or rowdiness and it was for a very short time. The next door neighbours to the guest house were very noisy much later on that night and there was a political rally at the stadium making so much more noise until the early hours of the morning. This was unnecessary. There was very little interaction from the guest house owners except for this "telling off".

Upon our arrival we were warmly received and shown around. Knock Out View is fantastically located and we walked all weekend to where we wanted to be. Peace is beautiful with the white bedding and towels. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the wooden deck and had a great time relaxing there. The only thing that bothered (note that this is not limited to Knock Out View and applies to all the accommodation in Clarens) is the noise from the township as soon as it starts to get dark. We also received this complaint from other people who stayed in other places in the town. We will definitely stay at Knock out View again. It was an unforgettable weekend.

The guest house is beautiful and well equipped. It is, however, not wheelchair friendly and not easily accessible for a person using crutches. Future guests should just be aware of that.

This one of the few places in our country where you can really go to rest. I am very active and could jog and cycle without fear of being hit. One can eat and drink at some of the best places without being overwhelmed by crowds. I recommend Knock Out to anyone who wants to rest. It is walking distance to everything and very comfortable and clean.

The guesthouse provides average accommodation. It is comfortably close to the central area because it is walking distance from the centre of Clarence. The room is small and the bathroom is very cramped. Biggest issue is the fact that there is basically nowhere to put your clothes. You have to live out of your suitcase. You can't relax indoors you can just lay on your bed if you want to relax you have to go outside.
Clarens is one of the best places I have visited and will return again to stay longer. The town's management is on top of it, everything is clean and tidy, there's law and order. A place close to my heart!

The parking was a bit uncomfortable for an SUV but it just brought out the "advanced driver" in me. Will definitely book again. The WiFi was an absolute plus.

The stay was neat. Only negative was when the cleaning lady came and pulled the door at 9 o'clock and unlocked it without knocking and asking if there were still people inside after the hostess assured us we didn't have to be out for 9 o'clock.
There were a few things I weren't happy about, one being the parking issue where I got a very unprofessional letter left on my window. Second was that I had mailed the guest house to say that it was my first anniversary, could I maybe upgrade or can you recommend places for us ... more than once, yet no reply - no effort.

What a clean, tidy, safe place to stay! The key system works so well that I don't have to bother anyone to get in and out. It's close enough and far enough from all the noise over a weekend. Thank you M for a wonderful experience! These are the nicest sheets and pillows I've ever slept on! The fridge had more than enough milk, water and breakfast porridge - just an extra treat. You will surely see us again!
From booking to final check-out, everything was handled perfectly and professionally. Lightning fast feedback should receive specific mention. Friendly and prompt reception with a bonus and apart from the coffee/tea sugar, the Weet Bix, Provitas and cheese as well as long life milk that was waiting for us in the fridge was a pleasant surprise. There was also enough heating and blankets to make the cool winter evenings a pleasant time! We will definitely stay there again (unit Mooigezicht)!

It was a really good experience and we really enjoyed it and it was within walking distance of everything. The only bad experience for us was the terrible heat and the fact that the unit was like a sauna in the afternoons when we returned. Maybe you should consider air conditioning.

It is an exceptionally beautiful environment. Beautiful nature and a lot of art and shops and outcrops to visit. The food is the best in the restaurants. Safe and there is enough to do to keep busy.

Knock out View exceeded our expectations! The unit we stayed in is very well furnished and very clean! Everything we needed was there ─ yes, even Weetbix in the fridge, milk, coffee, you name it and it was there! We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely recommend the place to friends and family!

We booked at Knock out View. Why? Because the name says Knock out View. It wasn't stated anywhere that we will be put into a revamped garage, with the knock out view that is a wall. The braai facilities are a kettle braai with a 30 cm diameter. We complained by the owner/manager Marlene and she then moved us to the family unit, which had a view (for the Saturday night). My point is, Knock out View is not what we got. We were in a house next to Knock out View.

My husband and I and a friend rode our motorbikes to Clarens. We stayed in Mooi Uitzicht. The accommodation was excellent and comfortable... There is a nice gas heater, electric blankets, underfloor heating in the room. There is coffee and tea available and delicious Provitas and cheese too. My husband enjoyed the candy!

We had a nice stay and could easily reach Clarens' shops and eateries from here. We had a great time on the porch and could observe how the colors of the mountains change as the sun sets. Nice treat with something for breakfast in the fridge too. We would go again - didn't want to leave again the next day!

Upon our arrival we were very surprised with the layout and cleanliness of all the units on site. We went home in the two bedroom unit called "HOPE". It is very tidy and meets all your basic needs and close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants in the village.
Excellent accommodation and highly recommended. Very neat unit that is very well equipped. Had a great stay and will definitely use the facility again. Very affordable for the environment.
We were only there for one night and it was nice for an overnight stay.
My husband and I were on our way back to Mozambique from Lesotho after a business visit and spent the night in the new cottage Mooie Uitzicht. There is not yet a carport for the cottage. The gate was indeed locked during the night. It wasn't just overnight accommodation that you pay for and are glad you even get underfloor heating - even if it wasn't cold that night. The hostess made you feel that she was giving something of herself to bond for the future. This is something unique to us South Africans... HOSPITALITY... which cannot be bought with any US dollars or pounds!

Knock Out View is value accommodation.
The room was too hot with only a fan in it. The sun shines directly into the room all day! We wonder if it will be very cold in the winter. It is bad for us not to be completely satisfied, but these are facts. The hanging space for clothes was insufficient for me as a woman. Maybe they should lower the costs a bit, although the location was perfect. We think that the front section is much better ventilated.
All the rooms are very spacious, clean, tidy and modernly furnished. High, steep set of stairs to front door, but worth it. The bath is spacious, but there is no shower. Kitchen open plan with all essential amenities. Braai facilities were provided. Friendly reception and safe parking.
House is well furnished, has everything needed. Towels and even furniture can be re-looked at. Towels look a bit old and some furniture is already damaged.

It is a basic one-room room that serves as a bedroom and living room. Basic kitchen items such as microwave, small fridge and kettle are also in the room.

Access to premises with only a sliding gate without any lock. Any passerby can enter. No reception, one cleaner who is difficult to communicate. Knock Out View, but our only view was of parking lot.
The owner did not even bother to personally check the condition of the unit even though they transferred us to another better house. The larger unit was clean and spacious, but the lice in the previous unit will stay with me forever.
I would have liked to know in advance that the unit had no view. Parking was a problem. I recorded it in the guest book. It was a bit impersonal for us. We would have liked more information about what to do in Clarens.
It's very central and within walking distance of Clarens' tourist attractions. So convenient.
I booked for Knock Out View. The morning before booking, I receive an SMS that we have been booked in a house together for a long time. The house is completely different from Knock Out View. It was spacious and clean and that was it. The bathroom only has a bathtub without shower facilities. If I had known it only had a bathtub I would not have stayed there. The accommodation also has a very steep staircase to the room. Had I known this, I would not have taken the room. On arrival we were told that the guests staying only one night stay slow. I wasn't told about that either. I will not use it again.

The place is very well located, clean and tidy. All that is missing is a sink for dishes. The sink in the bathroom can also be smaller - it takes up a lot of space.
The accommodation was great, we had a great time & had a great stay. It is centrally located and safe. The view is "amazing"! Only for future guests: arrange in advance for wood for the fireplace. We were looking forward to an evening in front of the fire, but could only purchase wood the next day.

The place was neat, clean and very beautiful. The tranquility was also very nice. The snacks in the fridge were very "nice" and the champagne and chocolates too. It's close to all the shops and very safe. Everything was a real experience and so breathtaking. The people are also so friendly and Marlene is a real host. Found the place easily with directions. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The place is nicely decorated, modern with a welcoming atmosphere. Sorry we couldn't stay longer, but we will definitely come again!

The accommodation is perfectly located close to everything. It is very clean and tidy. All that was a problem is that the other residents don't always lock the gate.
The Peace Suite is recommended with an excellent view of the eastern valley. The arrangements were as agreed and we enjoyed the stay very much.
The place was very neat and clean, easy to locate and even though we got there very late (11pm), we were able to get in easily. They have a cool 'lock box' system where the keys are kept for each unit and no one has to wait or be woken up for keys. The only criticism is that the parking is scarce and not enough if all the units are fully booked.
The "dry-wall" between the rooms is thin, one can hear conversations and every movement next door.

The only downside to the unit is that it only has one all-inclusive bathroom. It is a bit inconvenient to use between four people; would appreciate a second separate toilet.

We had a great stay at Knock Out View and would definitely stay there again. Marlene and her team are very hospitable and well organized. The unexpected extra treats in our unit were also a big plus! Knock Out View is also perfectly located as you can simply walk wherever you want to be!

We stayed there for two days and it was our first visit to Clarens. The unit was very comfortable and clean with a nice view of the mountains. There are five units and we were the only visitors there at the time which was nice as there is only one outside braai which might be problematic if all five units were booked. We considered and appreciated the fact that eg milk, cheese, biscuits and sweets were left there for us to use as a nice gesture. The hot water was therefore boiling hot and although there was a notice posted to turn it off at certain times, it did not help. Parking can also definitely be a problem if all the units are occupied. Furthermore, we would definitely recommend it.

We were upgraded from a studio for one night to a larger unit with a fireplace. We really appreciated it.
A lovely place. Issues include the fact the room was quite small and that wasn't expected for the price paid. Also the constant changing of when the manager would be there to collect the remainder of my deposit was a bit annoying. It would be better to ask for a full payment upfront as opposed to constantly change your plans, as this affects how we spend our holiday time.

Neat, but for a self-catering unit you expect a sink and stove to be able to cook, which we couldn't do at the time. The TV didn't work either.

The place is everything you need! We parked the car and walked around the village all weekend, only getting back in the car when we had to go home. We will definitely go again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Parking is a bit tight, and the only negative feedback is that other guests constantly ignored the allocated parking. Our vehicle had to spend both nights on the pavement. Very good value for money!

Place was neat and clean but we didn't get the room we specifically booked because they put someone else in it. Then why are we allowed to discuss a particular one? When we arrived there was no one to open for us. We walked around the house, standing around, until the cleaner finally appeared and unlocked it for us. We did not see the owner/manager/hostess once, with an eye.
